Student answer (Band 6.0)

Today's job market is fluctuating with greater momentum because of many uncertainities. Therefore some people find it a smart choice to accept those uncertain situations like money shortage or unsatisfactory job, while others believe that they should try and improve such conditions. Both views are discussed below with examples.

Many residents are accepting unsatisfactory or low salary jobs due to rise in market uncertainity. Major cause for this mindset is due to be rise in population. As a result, job market has observed significant conssessions. People believe in having a job rather than being unemployed. With this mentality, citizens end up with low living standards and income. But i consider it to be a smart move because of securing a job for neccessary survival. In order to begin career with such market condition, university students are adopting this technique to reseve their spot in an industry.

On the contrary, remaining residents of nation believe to try improving such conditions. There are many reasons for people to not accept unsatisfactory job. The major cause is the visualisation of return-on-investment. People who come from joint family cannot afford low paying jobs because of high monthly expense. High paying jobs require certain skill, and, not all can get such employment opportunity. A try in improving condition after taking a job is considered better than rejecting such initial opportunity.

To conclude, I would like to support the fact of getting a job irrespective of the salary condition, and gain experience. After with an individual can shift job to get a better slaray and interest oriented job. Although it is long process, but it is worthful

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and state a consistent opinion: you support taking a job first, then gaining experience and moving to a better one. The discussion of accepting a low-paid job is relevant, and the example of university students entering an industry helps illustrate this position. However, the opposing view is less clearly explained. The point about return on investment and joint-family expenses is introduced, but the link between these factors and actively improving a bad situation remains unclear. Some claims, such as population growth causing job-market concessions, also need explanation or support. To strengthen the response, develop each side with a specific example and explain more directly why people might accept a situation or take steps to change it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that restates your position. Transitions such as “On the contrary” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are connected mechanically or their relationships are not made explicit. For example, the move from population growth to “significant concessions” in the job market, and then to low living standards, needs clearer explanation. The second body paragraph also shifts from family expenses to the skills required for high-paying jobs without showing how these points support improving a situation. Use clearer links between claims and consequences, and make references such as “such conditions” more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “job market,” “low living standards,” “return-on-investment,” and “employment opportunity,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but several are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “market uncertainity,” “significant conssessions,” and “visualisation of return-on-investment.” Spelling errors, including “neccessary,” “reseve,” and “slaray,” further reduce accuracy. Some phrases are also imprecise: “remaining residents of nation” does not clearly identify the group being discussed. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. A more controlled range of vocabulary would make your argument clearer and more persuasive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures such as “As a result” and conditional phrasing such as “because of high monthly expense.” Most of the main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “Major cause for this mindset is due to be rise in population” has an incorrect sentence structure, while “High paying jobs require certain skill, and, not all can get such employment opportunity” has problems with articles and punctuation. In the conclusion, “After with an individual can shift job” is incomplete, and “Although it is long process, but it is worthful” combines structures incorrectly. Practise accurate clause construction, articles, and sentence boundaries while retaining your attempts at complex forms.
