Student answer (Band 5.5)

People may have different views, a number of people argue that to best way to accept such bad situation for example an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Other people believe to better way to try next time and improve their skill or such situation. I believe that improve any situation it is a great way to develop new skills.

On the one hand, accept all bad situation help people to develop their knowledge. This is mainly because accept such difficult situation can help people to develop their knowledge. In fact, when people may face any kind of issues like money shortages or low income salaries. This time acceptance can learn them how to handle such difficult situation and it can make more patience person. For example, a low income officer intially face money shortage but the office worker wait for few years this acceptance can give them a high salaries in the future. As a result, every bad situation learn people to make patience person.

On the other hand, best way to try next time and improve such situation. In other words, trying next time may develop new skills for everyone. Moreover, when people face a negative moment that time people may find alternative ways or try to develop their skills. Furthermore, that skills can help them to develop their economical growth or their job skills. For instance, an SSC candidate may fail in their test exam and this student try next time to get a better result in their final examination. As a result, trying every situation may support them to find alternative option.

In conclusion, people may have vary in their opinion, however, I believe that it is a greatest way to try next time for every situation because improving themselves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views and state a preference for trying to improve a situation, so the response addresses the main parts of the prompt. The examples of a low-paid worker and a student who retakes an exam are relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the acceptance paragraph repeats the idea that hardship builds knowledge and patience, without explaining when accepting a situation is beneficial or how it might lead to a better outcome. Your position is also not fully consistent: the introduction says improvement develops skills, while the conclusion says it is best to “try next time” without clearly explaining your reasoning. Develop each view with a distinct explanation and make your opinion explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive or unclear. For example, the acceptance paragraph repeats that accepting difficulty develops knowledge, then moves to patience without a clear link. Several sentences begin with “This,” “Moreover,” or “As a result,” but the connections between the ideas are not always logical or precise. Improve cohesion by making each paragraph follow a clear sequence—claim, explanation, example, and link back to the question—and ensure references such as “that time” have an unmistakable meaning.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “shortage of money,” “alternative ways,” “develop their skills,” and “low income.” This gives you enough language to communicate the general ideas. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “try next time,” “bad situation,” and “develop their knowledge.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “make more patience person,” “economical growth,” and “a greatest way.” Spelling errors such as “intially” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of precise expressions for hardship, persistence, and improvement, and check whether words combine naturally before using them.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “when,” and “that,” and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts often contain errors. For example, “accept all bad situation help people” has problems with the verb form and singular/plural agreement, while “when people may face any kind of issues” combines structures awkwardly. Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “a low income officer intially face money shortage.” The conclusion, “because improving themselves,” is an incomplete construction. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, and clause structure before submitting.
