Student answer (Band 5.5)

The arguments about living in the worse scenarios like the lack of money and with no job security are still under review. According to some people it is best to learn to survive in this situation, while other belives the individuals should try and do hardwork to make there situation better. In my opinion the peoples should try and work hard to improve there living instead of living with uncertainities.

If the individual accepted the worse living as there fate and just try to learn in that situation, then there is no way that the situation just change by any miracle and it also vanishes person skill set and further make them lazy. Moreover, they can't able to specify there goals and do something for the society. for instant, it is like a lion just sit and wait for any prey come to them rather than hunting which in result became lazy and useless.

In contrast, I think it is far better to try and work hard to escape from this kind of situation. The person who try, a new opportunities keep opening for them, that make the person and there situation better and also valuable for the society and the government. These tries also face failure but trying through consistency make the individual successfull one day.For example, a lot of great peoples face failure like Elon musk projects fail many times but its consistency result in the annovations.

In short, the person should not accept the bad situation and keep trying. Failures doesn't mean they can not proceed they just give there try and work with consistency make them rid of the worse situation and also make them much more valuable with there goal of living

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and make your own position clear: you argue that people should work to improve difficult circumstances rather than accept them. The response gives relevant reasons, including the risk of becoming passive and the possibility that persistence creates opportunities, and the examples of a lion and Elon Musk help illustrate these points. However, the view in favour of accepting a bad situation is not explored in a balanced way; it is mainly presented as leading to laziness, without considering why acceptance might sometimes be sensible, such as when circumstances cannot be changed immediately. Some claims, including that trying makes people more valuable to society, also need clearer explanation. Develop both sides more fully and support examples with precise links to your argument.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two positions, and a concluding statement. Linking expressions such as “In contrast,” “Moreover,” and “In short” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “The person who try, a new opportunities keep opening for them” does not clearly show how the ideas relate, and the shift from the lion analogy to social contribution is abrupt. Pronouns such as “they” and “there” also make some references difficult to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports; ensure that each paragraph develops one main idea in a logical sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “job security,” “goals,” “consistency,” and “failure,” and you attempt more specific terms such as “innovations.” However, the range is limited by repeated wording such as “situation,” “try,” and “work hard,” while several choices or forms are inaccurate: “worse scenarios,” “uncertainities,” “annovations,” and “great peoples.” Some phrases, including “learn to survive in this situation” and “rid of the worse situation,” are not natural in context and can make the meaning less precise. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for hardship, persistence, and improvement, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise collocations would make your argument clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If the individual accepted…,” and the main argument is generally understandable. However, some errors in sentence structure and agreement recur. For example, “the person who try” needs a singular verb, while “a new opportunities keep opening” has a mismatch between the article and plural noun. In “they can't able to specify,” the verb pattern is incorrect, and “Failures doesn't mean” has subject–verb disagreement. There are also run-on or poorly punctuated sentences, particularly around “one day.For example.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
