Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views: the first body paragraph explains accepting difficult circumstances, while the next argues for seeking better opportunities. Your opinion is also stated, particularly when you say someone unhappy in a job should “leave it and apply for new opportunity.” However, the discussion remains partial because the reasons are brief and often unclear. For example, the claim that accepting a situation may eventually lead to success is not explained, and the example about people achieving success in unsatisfying jobs does not show how or why. Your position is present but appears only near the end. Develop each view with a clear reason and a specific, relevant example, and state your opinion more consistently across the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an identifiable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This helps readers recognise the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and linking expressions are repetitive or awkward. For instance, “because” and “they believe” recur without clearly showing how one point leads to the next; the sentence beginning “because if they go other opportunity” is especially hard to interpret. The standalone “for instance” lines also interrupt the flow rather than introducing developed examples. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each reason directly to its explanation, and make the conclusion summarise your stated position rather than repeat both views.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “detrimental circumstances,” “unfulfilling job,” “opportunity,” and “successful person.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and many words or phrases are repeated, while frequent spelling and word-choice errors make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “detiremntal,” “pursuee,” “acception condition,” and “alternate their lives”; the intended meanings are sometimes unclear or the combinations are unnatural. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations. Prefer precise expressions such as “accept a difficult situation,” “improve one’s financial circumstances,” and “seek a more satisfying job.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express reasons and conditions using longer sentences, including “if they are involves some unfulfilling job and lack of money,” but these complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur frequently: “Some individual consider,” “they believes,” and “if they does not accept” should use correctly matched subjects and verbs. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “They thought if they does not accept their situation. they become helpless furthermore…” This makes relationships between ideas harder to understand. Most sentences rely on simple patterns, with limited accurate variety. Practise forming clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with correct verb forms and punctuation.
