Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You refer to both accepting difficult circumstances and trying to improve them, and you state a personal preference: “According to my view easy life is good than difficult.” However, the discussion does not clearly explain why people might accept a bad job or a shortage of money, or how they could improve these situations. Most of the response repeats that people either like or dislike difficulty, while the examples about Areeba, Nadeem and Ayesha do not provide relevant reasons or evidence. Your position is present but is not supported or consistently connected to the task. The response is also 20 words below the required minimum. To develop the answer, explain each view with a specific reason and example, then justify your own opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to move between the two views and give your opinion, so the reader can identify the general subject. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the response has little logical progression. Repeated openings such as “These type of persons” and repeated references to “difficulty” make the writing feel circular rather than developed. Connections between examples are also unclear: the discussion shifts from Areeba to Nadeem and then Ayesha without explaining how these examples support the argument. Use separate paragraphs for accepting a situation, trying to improve it, and your own view. Within each paragraph, connect a reason to an example and then to the task question.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory job,” “shortage of money,” “overcome,” “hard working,” and “troubles.” This gives the response a basic range for discussing difficult circumstances. However, the same words—especially “difficulty,” “easy situation,” and “persons”—are repeated frequently, and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “likes the difficulty” and “comfortness.” Spelling errors, including “pepole,” “difficultes,” and “veiw,” also reduce clarity and control. Build a more precise set of phrases for the task, such as describing financial hardship, job dissatisfaction, or taking steps to improve one’s circumstances, and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

Most sentences use a simple subject–verb pattern, and some basic meaning is understandable, for example, “They want to overcome the difficulty.” There is an attempt to use a reason clause in “I do not like the difficulty because it causes many troubles.” However, sentence structures are repetitive, and errors in agreement, articles, comparison, and sentence boundaries occur throughout. Examples include “These type of persons,” “she also want,” and “better than difficult”; the long opening also runs several sentences together without adequate spacing or punctuation. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.” Check subject–verb agreement and make comparisons between matching forms, such as “an easy life” and “a difficult life.”
