Student answer (Band 5.5)
Yes, this is true that as per the situation the person might choose to accept an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money but these days the gen-z they are not accepting those terms and try to improve themselves to get better oppportunities.
In my opinion, some people cannot afford to lose their jobs when their worth is more; they just do not want to take the risks as they have got lot more responsibilities and bills to pay and mouths to feed, therefore they want to stay in the same position.
However, some people like to take the challenges and risks, which makes them explore their abilities and refine their skills and never disrespect their values and experiences. Even though they have similar responsibilities on them but still they choose to grasp those opportunities and try to improve their situation, even if it is making a difference of 1%. They love to challenge themselves and also want to be a great example in front of their loved ones, so that they can learn a lot from them and take pride in them. This gives them the opportunity to rise and shine and be a better person personally and professionally.
Finally, I want to say that yes to be in a comfort position and situation might make a person secure however, that will not give them the reward as per their worth, what they deserve to get after so much of hardwork. So, one should learn how to grab the opportunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear preference for trying to improve one’s circumstances, especially in the conclusion: “one should learn how to grab the opportunities.” The discussion of accepting a difficult situation is relevant, with responsibilities and bills offered as reasons people may stay in a job. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the reasons for taking risks receive more explanation, while the acceptance view would benefit from a specific example and fuller consideration of when staying might be sensible. Some claims, such as Gen Z generally refusing to accept unsatisfactory conditions, are broad and unsupported. Develop each view with a concrete example and explain more directly why your preferred approach is better.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining why people may stay in a difficult situation, a contrasting paragraph about taking risks, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “However” and “Finally” help signal the direction of the discussion. Within paragraphs, though, several ideas are joined into long chains, particularly the paragraph beginning “However, some people like to take the challenges and risks.” This makes the progression less clear, and the conclusion repeats the preference without drawing together the two views. Some references, such as “that” in “that will not give them the reward,” are not fully precise. Use clearer topic sentences, divide extended sentences, and link each example explicitly to the main argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “responsibilities,” “risks,” “refine their skills,” and “personally and professionally.” These choices help communicate the contrast between security and self-improvement. However, several expressions are informal, imprecise, or unnatural for an academic essay, such as “gen-z,” “rise and shine,” “mouths to feed,” and “grab the opportunities.” There are also spelling and word-form errors, including “opppportunities” and “hardwork.” Aim for more precise, formal collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, describe people as “younger generations” and say they “pursue opportunities” rather than “grab” them. This would make your ideas sound more controlled and academically appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “even though” and “so that,” and the main meaning is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, however. The opening “Yes, this is true that” is not a well-formed construction, and “the person might choose … but these days the gen-z they are” shifts awkwardly between singular and plural subjects. In “some people cannot afford to lose their jobs when their worth is more,” the relationship between the clauses is unclear. Long sentences also need more reliable punctuation and clause control. Practise forming direct topic sentences, maintaining consistent subject–verb agreement, and separating independent ideas with full stops or appropriate conjunctions.
