Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that some individuals believe that it is good to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. While others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.I firmly agree with this notation
on the one hand, accepting a bad situation or failure is very significant because it is were you learn. Accepting reality prevents frustration, anxiety and burnout caused by struggling against things beyond immediate control.Morever, acknowledging current limitations prevents people from taking reeckless financial or career risk. accepting a job that is less than ideal can still provide stability and support a family while other life goals are pursued. After accepting a reality a person should adapt to the circumstances
and maintaining their peace of mind.
on the other hand, improving and learning from the mistakes and try to do better is significant thing. For instance if a student fails in his one of the subject of the course so in the second time attempt he should work hard and learn about new strategies and try to improve himself. In this regard he should become very successful after learning from the mistakes
In conclusion we can, for the reasons outlined below i maintained that after accepting the reality of bad situation individuals should try to improve themselves and about new skills and they should definately learn from their own mistake in order to overcome the bad situations and becoming a successfull man. In this regard honesty for their own work and determination is required

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and state a position: you recognise the value of accepting reality, then argue that people should also work to improve their circumstances. The examples about taking a less-than-ideal job for stability and a student learning after failing are relevant. However, the discussion is only partial: the reasons are briefly stated, and the student example is not developed to show how improvement leads to a better outcome. Your position also becomes clearest only in the conclusion. The response is 232 words, below the required 250; the 26 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each view with fuller explanation and a specific example, and state your balanced opinion clearly in the introduction.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “on the one hand,” “on the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links are unclear or mechanical. For example, “After accepting a reality a person should adapt to the circumstances and maintaining their peace of mind” does not connect smoothly, while the conclusion repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together clearly. Use complete, logically connected sentences, and make each paragraph develop one main idea through explanation and an example. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow how acceptance relates to later improvement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “stability,” “frustration,” “limitations,” “strategies,” and “determination.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less precise. Examples include “this notation” for your opinion, “reeckless financial or career risk,” and “becoming a successfull man.” Some expressions are also repetitive, particularly “bad situation,” “accepting,” and “improve.” Aim for more accurate topic-specific phrasing and check spelling carefully. Vary repeated terms with suitable alternatives, while ensuring that the chosen words fit naturally in their sentence.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex structures, including a contrast between the two views and a conditional example beginning “if a student fails.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. For instance, “While others argue…” is an incomplete sentence, and “it is were you learn” has faulty verb structure. In “a person should adapt … and maintaining,” the verb forms do not match; the conclusion also contains a confusing construction beginning “we can, for the reasons outlined below i maintained.” Improve control of sentence boundaries, verb forms, articles, and punctuation. Practise writing clear simple sentences first, then add complex clauses and check that their grammar remains consistent.
