Student answer (Band 6.0)

There is a considerable debate over, wethear people should accept unsuitable circumstances such lacking interest in employment or financial problems or they should try overcome obstacles to enhance the situations. I consider that it a best approach to fight with bad circumstance in order to acquire success in life.

Firstly, in this contemporary era, people are hopeless because of not getting the desired results despite putting hardwork. This can create a sense of demotivation ampng them. As a result, they may leave all the efforts which suggest others to accept bad situations. For instance, an employee who applied in different high paid companies, but in case of not recieving joining letter he may feel discourage and stop putting efforts. Additionally, some people argue that success can be accessed only if it is written in our destiny. After trying for once only and not getting reward back can create frustration among people, so they persume that we are not made for this. Consequentley, they stop believing in themselves and started to live the ordinary life

However, some contend that we should give our best to refine our lifes because facing difficulties and failiures in the beginning are the basis of success of future life. Working hard in present era creates ease for people for later. As a result, people can enjoy better life by enjoying long term benefits . For instance, my uncle once used to work as ordinary worker in any organization but he decided to work hard to improve his conditions and now he owns a company, which gives him a great revenue. Moreover, it motivates the youth as well which is struggling to acquire succes in life as by setting exceptional examples of success stories

In conclusion, it is true that continue efforts enables people to enjoy long term benfits but sometimes after not achieving predicted outcomes people may get unmotivated and consider it time wastage and accept that it is not in their destiny

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and state your position clearly in the introduction: you favour trying to improve difficult circumstances. The body paragraphs also give relevant reasons and examples, particularly the employee who becomes discouraged and your uncle who works towards owning a company. This meets the task’s main requirements. However, the view in favour of acceptance is explained mainly through discouragement and belief in destiny, rather than exploring when accepting a situation might be sensible or necessary. The example about your uncle supports the opposing view, but its connection to the broader argument could be explained more fully. To strengthen the response, develop each side more evenly and make the conclusion explicitly weigh the two views before reaffirming your opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Sequencing expressions such as “Firstly,” “As a result,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main direction. Within paragraphs, however, some links feel mechanical, and the reasoning occasionally jumps from one point to another. For example, the discussion moves from unsuccessful job applications to destiny without clearly showing how these are distinct reasons for accepting circumstances. The final sentence also repeats the idea of discouragement without clearly resolving the comparison between the views. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each claim, explanation, and example explicit. Clearer references to the people or ideas being discussed would also improve flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “unsuitable circumstances,” “demotivation,” “long-term benefits,” and “revenue,” and the main ideas remain understandable. There are also some inaccurate or unnatural choices that limit precision, such as “fight with bad circumstance,” “success can be accessed,” and “reward back.” Spelling errors—including “wethear,” “recieving,” and “succes”—also reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Some phrases are vague or awkward, such as “ordinary life” and “in any organization,” where more precise wording would help communicate your meaning. Build accuracy by learning common collocations for work, effort, and financial hardship, and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use a mixture of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “despite,” and “which,” so there is some structural variety. The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “people should accept unsuitable circumstances such lacking interest” needs a grammatical link such as “such as,” while “I consider that it a best approach” is missing a verb and uses an incorrect article. Verb forms are also inconsistent in “they stop believing in themselves and started to live,” and the sentence beginning “After trying for once only” is awkwardly constructed. Review articles, verb tense consistency, and sentence boundaries, then proofread longer sentences to ensure each clause is complete and correctly connected.
