Student answer (Band 6.0)
A number of individuals say that it is better when one accepts their bad situation like a boring job or less financial freedom, while others say, trying to improve your current condition is a better approach. Although accepting the reality is essential I believe that one must focus on improving their present situation.
When a person faces difficulty, some people believe that they should accept it and move forward. There are many situations in which a person might not be intrested in, such as their job which does not satisfy their goals but they still are unable to switch with something better. Furthermore, It is also observed while people do not fight the situation, they obtain the tendency to settle for less. For instance, if a student is regularly failing at his class and do not work harder, he will not improve himself and eventually fail again.
However, I would argue that as a human being it is very crucial to make yourself better to not face any similar hurdles in near future. the concept of improving yourself works in a way that the person should try harder every single time. Money solves alot of problems, so focusing on gaining financial literacy and practically implementing it is quite important. For example, a person with a low paying job can make a handsome salary if they improve their current skills and communication. Adding to that, if you are not satisfied with your present employment, improving such situations works amazingly good.
In conclusion, accepting bad situation lets a person to stay in thier comfort zone, while I think it is best to face some hardships and improve your current position.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and state your view clearly in the introduction: accepting reality can be necessary, but people should focus on improving their circumstances. The body paragraphs also relate to the topic, with examples involving an unsatisfying job, a student who does not work harder, and a worker developing skills. However, the two views are not explored equally: the case for acceptance is mainly described as being unable to switch jobs, and the essay does not explain when accepting a situation might be a sensible or beneficial choice. Some support is also general, particularly the claim that money solves many problems. Develop each side with a clearer reason and a more specific example to make the discussion more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your position. Transitions such as “Furthermore,” “However,” and “For example” help readers follow the main direction. At times, though, the links between ideas are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “Furthermore, It is also observed while people do not fight the situation” does not clearly show how the next point follows, and the final sentence of the second body paragraph adds another claim without developing its connection to the example. Use linking phrases that express the precise relationship between ideas, and make sure each paragraph progresses from a main point to explanation and evidence.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financial literacy,” “low paying job,” “current skills,” and “comfort zone.” These choices help communicate the discussion, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “switch with something better,” “make a handsome salary,” and “works amazingly good.” There are also spelling errors, including “intrested,” “alot,” and “thier.” These do not prevent understanding, but they reduce precision and control. Aim for natural combinations such as “move to a better job,” “earn a higher salary,” and “can be highly effective,” and proofread carefully for spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in the introduction (“Although accepting the reality is essential…”) and conditional examples. The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “a student … do not work harder” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “if you are not satisfied … improving such situations works” shifts awkwardly between a conditional clause and its subject. Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention: “the concept” begins a sentence with a lowercase letter, and “Furthermore, It” incorrectly capitalises the pronoun after a comma. Review agreement, sentence construction, and sentence boundaries, then check each sentence for consistent subjects and clear clause relationships.
