Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response gives a view that acceptance can reduce stress and help people focus on future goals, and it briefly mentions improving prospects through courses and hard work. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the argument for simply accepting a bad situation is not clearly distinguished from the argument for trying to improve it. Your opinion is also difficult to identify in the opening, where “accept the situation and tried to improve” is unclear, although the final paragraph favours acceptance as a starting point. The example about a low-paid employee taking courses is relevant but needs explanation of how it supports your position. The response is 9 words below the required minimum. Develop both sides separately and state your position clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response into paragraphs, and expressions such as “Furthermore” and “Despite the fact” signal relationships between ideas. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the same point—acceptance reduces stress and enables hard work—is repeated in several paragraphs without a clear distinction between the two views. The opening does not establish a clear plan, and the question “How acceptance of bad situation reduce the stress or tension” interrupts the example rather than advancing the argument. Some links are also unclear, particularly the transition from accepting a situation to gaining job opportunities. Give each body paragraph a distinct purpose, use clear topic sentences, and connect examples explicitly to the point they illustrate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “shortage of money,” “job opportunities,” “salary,” “skills,” and “future goals.” This gives you enough basic language to communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “accept the situation,” “hard work,” and “improve the situation.” There are also noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems, such as “hones the situation,” “chair tension,” “beleive,” and “geeting,” which can make parts of the message difficult to understand. Aim to use more precise expressions and check spelling. For example, describe a person as “accepting their circumstances” and then “taking practical steps to improve their prospects.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts some longer structures, including clauses beginning with “because” and “when,” and uses simple sentences to express its main ideas. However, many sentences are incomplete or have faulty clause structure, such as “Owing to the face that accept the situation and try to hones the situation…” and “In my option to accept the situation and tried to improve…”. Verb forms and agreement are also often inaccurate: “Acceptance of situation reduce” should use a singular verb, while “do the courses” and “without accept” need different grammatical forms. Missing articles and punctuation problems further affect readability. Practise building complete subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries.
