Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe to accept the every situation you face while some argue that accepting is not solution you will have to find solution and improve the situation. This essay discuss both prespective and i personally prefer to find solution rather then accepting.
To start with, there are many reasons of accepting the situation some of which is people cannot avoid bad situation. These type of situation can't always be avoided. It is best to accept the reality. If we accept the reality this allow us to maintain the positive mode and we also learn alot of thing from this situation. For example:my cousin has major loss in his busniess and he had no option rather then this to accept this reality because he gave all his saving to his business and left empty handed.
On other hand, in the second situation we should have agressive approach to improve the situation. The benefit of this approach is you remain in pressure to find the solution this give you confident that you can do anything and solve any problem. Somehow if someone lose there job his main focous is towards finding new one rather then thinking why this happen. Focusing on finding solution can divert some of negative emotions.
To conclude,i beleive both side had stronger opinion. I believe it's better to find solution and it gave positive midset which is important is life. Its better to accept the situation with dignity. If we can't loose the temper, remain brain cool we can overcome any type of situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a preference for finding solutions, so the response is relevant to the whole task. The first body paragraph explains why accepting an unavoidable setback may help someone maintain a positive outlook, and the cousin’s business loss gives this view a concrete example. The second paragraph also presents a relevant reason to act, using job loss to illustrate how seeking work can redirect negative feelings. However, these ideas are not developed equally: the benefits of acceptance are clearer than the reasons someone should actively improve a situation, and the conclusion introduces accepting events “with dignity” without fully reconciling this with your preference for change. Explain the limits and benefits of each approach more precisely and support your position consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through the discussion, and transitions such as “To start with” and “On other hand” signal the change in viewpoint. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “in the second situation” does not clearly identify the opposing view, while “this give you confident” follows a chain of ideas without a clear connection. The conclusion also shifts between preferring solutions and accepting situations, which weakens the progression of your argument. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports; ensure the final paragraph restates one consistent position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “accept the reality,” “find the solution,” “positive,” and “negative emotions.” There are also attempts at more expressive language, such as “aggressive approach” and “empty handed.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less natural: “positive mode,” “major loss in his business,” and “remain in pressure” do not express the intended ideas idiomatically. Spelling errors such as “prespective,” “busniess,” and “focous” are noticeable. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for discussing setbacks and responses, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “If we accept the reality…” and a subordinate clause beginning “because.” This shows some range, and the main message is generally understandable. However, there are some recurring errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For instance, “This essay discuss” needs subject–verb agreement, and “this allow us” has the same issue. “Some of which is people cannot avoid bad situation” is difficult to follow because the clause is not formed correctly. Several sentences also run together, as in “this situation. For example:my cousin…”. Practise building clear complex sentences and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries so that your ideas are easier to follow.
