Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is commonly believed that acceptance to a bad circumstances like an unsatisfactory work or a short of money is the most effective method to move forward in life. On the other hand, people think that one should put on efforts to get out of the bad situations. This essay agrees that it is better to try and get out of the hardships.
Most of the people are not satisfied with the life they are having; they are either broke, or they are generally unhappy with how everything is going. Nonetheless, they are not willing to change anything as they think every situation will have its difficulties. This leads them to think that it will be better if they stop thinking of any alternatives and try to live the life amidst the dissatisfaction. For example, labors of undeveloped country work hard in their nation every single day and live the same life with poor standard of living.
However, some people think that every one can rise through all the difficulties once they try to. People can be optimistic of the situation and should put on the work to help themselves. This will at least make happy and satisfied as they can say at least they tried rather than regret later. If everything goes right, everything will be good, and they will progress in life. For instance, a broke man can earn money by working hard without accepting that he is meant to be poor.
While, it seems to be easy to accept a bad circumstance as there are difficulties in every situation, trying to work out their way through the hardships will at the least make the situation by far less difficult. As long as one try to work hard consistently, they will have more chances to succeed in life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and make your own position clear in the introduction: you support trying to improve difficult circumstances. The body paragraphs also present relevant reasons, including the idea that accepting hardship may prevent people from seeking alternatives and that effort can reduce later regret. However, the two sides are not developed equally or in much detail. The example of workers in an undeveloped country illustrates acceptance, but the reasons they remain in that situation are not explored; the example of a man earning money through hard work is also general. To strengthen the response, explain the circumstances in which acceptance may be sensible, then develop your preferred approach with a more specific example and clearer reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a concluding paragraph that restates your opinion. Linking expressions such as “On the other hand,” “Nonetheless,” and “However” help signal contrasts, and the ideas generally progress in a logical order. Some connections are less smooth or precise, though. The conclusion begins “While, it seems…” but the comma interrupts the sentence, and “As long as one try…” does not clearly connect the final claim to the preceding point. References such as “they” and “everything” can also be vague. Use cohesive devices more naturally and make each paragraph’s central point explicit before adding its explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “difficulties,” “alternatives,” “dissatisfaction,” “optimistic,” and “regret.” These choices allow you to discuss both acceptance and efforts to change circumstances. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “acceptance to a bad circumstances,” “a short of money,” “put on efforts,” and “live the life amidst the dissatisfaction” are examples. “Broke” is also informal for this essay, while “poor standard of living” is more suitable. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural phrases and choose formal alternatives where appropriate; this will make your ideas clearer and more fluent without requiring unnecessarily complex words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “as,” “while,” and “once,” and the overall meaning is usually clear. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with articles, agreement, and sentence construction. For example, “Most of the people” would usually be “Most people,” “every one can rise” should be “everyone can rise,” and “This will at least make happy and satisfied” needs a subject and object, such as “This will at least make them feel happy and satisfied.” In the final sentence, “As long as one try” also has an agreement error. Review these patterns and punctuate introductory clauses carefully; more accurate control of these structures would make the argument easier to follow.
