Student answer (Band 5.5)

Individuals perspective have drastic impact on the way they live their life. There is an ongoinging discussion where one group asserts that citizens should accept the unfavrouable condition while other contradicts that they should work upon it to get through it . From my point of view, I think people should make efforts to cope up with unwanted things and try their best to make worth out of it.

To begin with, first group states that denizens should go with flow without trying much harder. In other words, wheneever something happens which you does not like you have no other option than accepting it beacuse everything is not in our hands. To epitomize, if a company is suffering with severe loss due to some rules and regulations which had been set while establishing the company years ago and will not be changed aven if altering it will help to conquere the loss it facing becuase it will contradict the person's ability, intellectuality who made it.Hence, even if small step can change the scenario but will hurt the people so we should sit as it is and accept it by thiking emotionally rather than being practical. Therfore, it is said it is not in my destiny without actually working out.

However, other group tells that it depend on us what we can do to make it better. To ellaborate, bad situations are part of life and we have ability to tackle it and grow through it. Moreover, hardwork and discipline are skills which will make everything workout in your path with smart and sharp mind.Additionally, under least favourable circumstances, people can try to figure it out about it by analyzing the situation and solving it by distinct ways. For instance, if adult is not getting his desire job, he can communicate to his friends and family and try to search the reason for it , if found one that is a particular skill he can practice and take classes on it to master it and can get that job without failure.

In conclusion, there is nothing wrong in accepting the situation but not working on it and trying to solve it is not appropriate beacuse i believe there is key to every lock and with harwork

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state your own position: you explain why some people accept difficult circumstances and argue that people should try to improve them. The example of an adult developing a skill to obtain a desired job is relevant and gives some support to your view. However, the first viewpoint is less clearly explained: the company example is difficult to follow, and the claim that change would hurt people is not fully connected to accepting a bad personal situation. Your conclusion also ends abruptly, so it does not fully reinforce your reasoning. To strengthen the response, explain each view with a clear, directly relevant example and develop the reasons behind your opinion more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the long company example, where several ideas are joined without clear links. Some connectors, including “Moreover” and “Additionally,” are used mechanically, and references such as “it” and “this” can be unclear. The final sentence is incomplete, which weakens the ending. Use shorter, more clearly organised sentences, make each paragraph’s main point explicit, and check that pronouns refer unmistakably to an idea or person.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of vocabulary related to the topic, including “unfavourable condition,” “discipline,” “circumstances,” and “analyzing the situation.” These choices show an effort to express abstract ideas, but inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are frequent enough to make some phrases awkward or difficult to understand. Examples include “ongoinging discussion,” “make worth out of it,” and “desire job”; “denizens” is also an unnatural choice for people in this context. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than unusually formal words. Proofread spelling carefully and learn useful phrases as complete units, such as “make the best of a situation” and “a job they want.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “if an adult is not getting his desire job…” and “when… something happens.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries frequently affect clarity. For example, “Individuals perspective have” has incorrect agreement and a missing possessive form, while “when… something happens which you does not like” shifts person and uses the wrong verb form. Several sentences run together, especially in the first body paragraph, and the conclusion is unfinished. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, tense, and punctuation.
