Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, this is a concern of many peoples that accept the situation simply in which you are stuck. However other argue that the best approach is to find out the solution of that particular problems which make trouble for you to make your convenient. In this essay i will discuss both prespectives and give my own opinion with relevant example.

The first state is that, there are some people who believe that, we should accept a problems which we are facing daily such as unsatisfactory job or finiancial issues. Because there are somethings we can't change we have to live in that what accuatly they are. For example, a person doing a work which is hard to do but give them a high amount in the end of the month, which run their family, so he can't quite even if they want.

The second view of this debate is that, others argue that the causes can be solve by a better solution. We can identify our weakness where we are lacking work on it and can improve. For instance, a employe working in a company get a weekly tasks and less accurate to complete each time manager insult him for their work, rather than getting agree on this disrespects he can improve their work with new planing and strategies. As a result he can come out from this situation, i also believe their is nothing impossible everything can be solve by right planing and way.

In conclusion, there are some people who controverse that, the best choice to face any situation is that to accept it as they are and live with it. I disagree with this, i believe we should fight for our convenience and try to found the solution of problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and make your own position clear: you explain why someone may accept a difficult job to support a family, then argue that people should try to improve their circumstances. The examples are relevant, especially the worker who could improve his performance rather than accept disrespect. However, the two sides are not developed equally. The acceptance argument is mainly illustrated by one financial example, while the improvement argument would benefit from explaining more clearly how the proposed plan or strategies could lead to change. Your conclusion restates your disagreement, but the essay could give a more precise account of when acceptance may be sensible and when action is preferable. Developing these points further would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “The first state,” “The second view,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. The ideas generally progress in a logical order, and examples are placed alongside the relevant arguments. At times, however, linking is mechanical or unclear. For example, “Because there are somethings we can't change” is not smoothly connected to the preceding sentence, and the reference in “which run their family” is difficult to follow. The final paragraph repeats the main position rather than drawing the discussion together. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and make pronoun references explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory job,” “financial issues,” “weakness,” and “strategies,” and you attempt to express ideas about both acceptance and change. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “find out the solution,” “make your convenient,” and “fight for our convenience”; these do not express the intended idea naturally. Spelling errors such as “prespectives,” “finiancial,” and “planing” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common topic-related phrases as complete units, such as “improve one’s circumstances” and “make ends meet,” and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “if they want” and a contrast introduced by “rather than.” This shows some variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “there are some people who believe that, we should accept a problems” has problems with punctuation, article use, and singular/plural agreement. In “the causes can be solve,” the verb form is incorrect, while “a employe … get” also contains agreement and article errors. Several sentences run together or use commas where a full stop or conjunction is needed. Practise accurate clause construction, subject–verb agreement, and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for punctuation.
