Student answer (Band 5.5)

A number of people think that it is best to cope with a difficult situation, like as dissatisfying emplyement or lack of money. Other claim that it is more effective that work towards and enhance such condition. This eassy agree that it is better to attemt and develop such kind of cases.

First of all , when people are in such kind of cricumstance they should improve thei work, because if they accept this they never touch the succes in life . For example , that who stuck in a job that not satisfied they could not complete the work seamlesly . At this point they loss their skill and also harm in company .

On the other hand , one who need money but the jod do not give the money he deserve , that was also a reson for they could not stick in the same job . If they try to improve their skill and practice them they should get a better opurtunity . For example , when they do job and side by side they can learn different skill so that they can apply their desire job and money .

Further more , many people think that it is better to accept ,some of cases they are right when they do not have another jod or doing nothing , But if they refine themselves they can easily do something . For example , if they jus sit in home no one can give the job or money, but if you try you can get job some day .

In conclusion , if you dont try to make progress in life you do not achieve anything you deserve . If one time you accept that , then nothing to do but try to do someting new it is gain your knowledge and can use the real life .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, and you include relevant examples about developing skills and seeking better work. You also acknowledge that accepting a situation may sometimes be necessary, particularly when someone has no alternative. However, the two views are not explored with equal clarity: the reasons for accepting a bad situation are only briefly mentioned, while several points about improving it repeat the idea of trying harder. Some examples, such as being unable to complete work “seamlessly,” are not fully explained or clearly linked to the argument. Develop each side with a distinct reason and explain how your examples support it; this would make the response more complete and its position better supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First of all,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the discussion. However, progression between ideas is uneven. The second paragraph begins with a point about improving work, then shifts to dissatisfaction with pay, while the third paragraph repeats the case for self-improvement rather than adding a clearly distinct point. Some references are also unclear, as in “If they accept this” and “that was also a reason for they could not stick.” Organise the body around one view per paragraph, use clearer links between claims and examples, and avoid repeating the same argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “difficult situation,” “improve,” “skill,” “opportunity” and “achieve,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations and spelling errors make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “dissatisfying employment,” “touch the success,” “harm in company” and “apply their desire job” do not express the intended meanings naturally. Frequent misspellings such as “emplyement,” “eassy” and “opurtunity” also reduce clarity. Build a bank of accurate phrases for employment and financial hardship, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “secure a better-paid position” over improvised combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “if they try” and clauses introduced by “when” and “because.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, so the reader must sometimes work to understand the relationships between ideas. Examples include “Other claim that it is more effective that work towards,” “they could not complete the work,” and “it is gain your knowledge.” There are recurring problems with subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction; punctuation spacing and comma use are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add a correctly formed reason or condition. Proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
