Student answer (Band 4.5)

In my opinion, i believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, in the manner like as an unsatisfying jobs or some time shortage of money. AS well as some argue that it is a better way to try and improve such situations. Now i will discuss both these views in the below paragraph.

Firstly, i believe that some bad situations are the best, for example, if you want a precious thing for own himself and it is very preferable for you but unfortunately you are not to get this because some times it is not good for you and your God have some other plans for you i believe. Such as you want to be a success full doctor in your life as professional field, but your God have some bigger plans for you and you are became a successful teacher or a engineer in different fields.

On the other hand, some argue that it is a better way to try and improve your self to achieve the bad situation again. But my suggestion is that if a person follow these rule you are not achieving your goals in the real life. Because you lost half of your life in the struggling and some time you are not successful in your goals. For instance, like a man struggling again and again but all in wain, such as a story of a gready fox and sour grapes.

In conclusion, I believed that it is the best way to accept a harsh situation which is in different maners dont care if you are not achieve it and just accept it. And also just struggling more and more and i believe you can reach your destination as soon as posssible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a view in the opening and conclusion, and you attempt to discuss both accepting a difficult situation and trying to improve it. However, the response only minimally addresses the task because the reasons are unclear or do not directly explain the two positions. The example of becoming a teacher instead of a doctor illustrates accepting a different outcome, but the claim that “some bad situations are the best” is not explained. The second view is dismissed with a general warning about wasting time, rather than explored fairly. The fox-and-grapes reference is not clearly connected to the argument. Develop each view with a relevant reason and a specific example, then make your own position consistent and clear throughout. The response meets the stated length requirement; 10 words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Basic signposting such as “Firstly” and “On the other hand” also indicates a change of focus. However, ideas within paragraphs do not progress clearly: the first body paragraph moves from accepting an outcome to religious plans without explaining the connection, while the second shifts from struggling toward goals to the fox-and-grapes story. Some linking phrases, including “Now i will discuss both these views in the below paragraph,” are mechanical and do not help develop the argument. Use each paragraph to present one main point, explain it, and connect a relevant example to it; ensure references such as “these rule” have a clear antecedent.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “shortage of money,” “struggling,” “goals,” and “destination,” and you try to use examples and idiomatic expressions. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent inaccurate word choices or collocations make some ideas difficult to interpret. Phrases such as “unsatisfying jobs,” “achieve the bad situation again,” and “all in wain” do not express the intended meanings naturally; “gready” and “posssible” also show spelling problems. Choose precise topic language and check common word partnerships. For example, distinguish between accepting a situation and accepting an outcome, and use expressions such as “improve one’s circumstances” or “make progress towards a goal” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “if you want a precious thing … but unfortunately you are not to get this.” However, the range is very limited in effective control: many sentences contain frequent errors that can obscure the intended meaning. Examples include “i believe,” “your God have,” “you are became,” and “if a person follow these rule,” which show problems with capitalization, agreement, verb forms, and plurals. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable, particularly in the long opening and first body sentence. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
