Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, many people stuck in life and they try to come outside from difficulties but they fail. A small number of individuals think that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money while others claim that it is better to try and improve such situations. I will discuss both views.

on the one hand, many people want to life get better but getting life better, we have to pass from the difficulties. Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation. I partially agree with this point because failure can motivate us and learn patience in life. For instance, a student fail in the exams and after the exams, he can learn from their earlier mistakes. Moreover, many people stuck in life but he can accept it such an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money.

On the other hand, there are lot of challenging come in life but it does not mean we give up. Several individuals argue that it is better to try new things, i also stand with this point because failure is a part of life. Many people fail in life However, they can not give up. For instance, a people whose business floped after that, he can start new business because he can not give up in life. In addition, if we fail in life in any work afterthat we should new business or new work rather than accept a bad situation.

To sum up, many people fail in life, they can not give up. They should start new work and work hard in this. Accepting a bad situation also a part of life because some time we can not anything rather than accept a bad situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and give a personal position, especially when you say you “partially agree” with accepting difficulties and later support trying to improve them. The examples of a student learning from exam failure and a business owner starting again are relevant. However, the discussion is only partial: the reasons for accepting a bad situation are not clearly explained, and the final paragraph shifts toward persistence without resolving when acceptance may be sensible. Some points, such as “failure is a part of life,” are repeated rather than developed with specific explanation. To strengthen the response, explain the circumstances in which acceptance is practical, then compare these with situations where taking action can improve someone’s prospects.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: ideas about failure, accepting a job or money problems, and starting a business are placed together without explaining their links. The conclusion also repeats earlier claims rather than bringing the two views together. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “he” after “many people” make it difficult to follow who is meant. Use a clearer sequence of claim, explanation, and example in each paragraph, and make pronoun references precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general ideas, including “difficulties,” “failure,” “shortage of money,” and “business.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “fail in life,” “bad situation,” and “give up.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “come outside from difficulties,” “want to life get better,” and “a lot of challenging come in life.” Spelling errors such as “floped” also reduce accuracy. These choices sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Build a wider set of natural expressions for coping with setbacks and improving circumstances, and check spelling and collocations when revising.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional idea in “if we fail in life in any work…” and examples introduced with “For instance.” However, the range is limited, and attempts at longer structures often contain errors that make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “many people stuck in life,” where the verb is missing, and “a student fail in the exams,” where subject–verb agreement and tense are incorrect. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “a people” and the run-on construction “many people fail in life, they can not give up.” Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine ideas using controlled clauses and punctuation.
