Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear preference for trying to improve a difficult situation, especially in the opening and conclusion, and you include an example about Homi Bhabha to support perseverance. However, the task is only partly addressed because the two views are not discussed with equal clarity or development. The point that accepting rejection can help someone learn is relevant, but the benefits of accepting an unsatisfactory job or financial hardship are not explained, and the example is not clearly connected to the specific situation in the question. Develop each view with a reason and a concrete example, then explain why your preferred approach is stronger. The response meets the stated length requirement; eight words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “In addition” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the discussion moves from personal plans to a missile example and then to prehistoric struggles without clearly showing how each point supports the argument. Some links are inaccurate or mechanical, including “in other hand” and “As time changes value of struggle also change link.” References such as “this view” are sometimes unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, explain it before giving an example, and use linking phrases only where the relationship between ideas is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “struggle,” “cope” and “optimistic,” and phrases such as “trust the process” show an effort to express your viewpoint. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, for example “some proportion of mass,” “faith on himself” and “large on trying.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, such as “mover,” “homi baba” and “breadth” where “breath” is intended. These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing acceptance, improvement and perseverance, and check spelling and collocations when revising.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if people stick to there plan…” and a contrast introduced by “although.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty or difficult to follow. Errors include missing or incorrect verb forms (“he achieve”), agreement (“people stuck”), and sentence boundaries, as in the long opening sentence joined by commas. Articles, plurals and punctuation are also inconsistent, and repeated wording such as “you you” remains uncorrected. These frequent errors can make the reader work to understand your ideas. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them accurately using clauses such as “although” and “if.”
