Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is a debate nowadays that to accept a bad situation is best which may include an unsatisfactory employment or lack of funds. While other believes that it is best to make an effort for the betterment of such conditions. This essay will discuss aspects before explaining why i believe that taking proactive steps is wiser.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some people prefer to accept their circumstances because leaving an unsatisfactory job without a backup plan can lead to unemployment and even greater financial hardship. In a weak economy, for instance an individual who resigns may struggle to find another position, so staying put offers security. However, this approach may limit long term growth and individual may stuck at the same position for years which is not a good gesture.
In contrast, the other individual try for the betterment and ready to take a risk because improvement needs action. Moreover, gaining new skills, studying or changing jobs can lead to better pay and satisfaction. For instance, someone with low income learns a digital skill such as freelancing and double their earnings. I beleve that to take a step is easy as improving is generally but wisely. Accepting the situation is not the right decision because this lead to mental stress and condition of anxiety.
To conclude, I say that to try for the improvement is basically a human need for the better future. In this way we are able to gain satisfaction and more financial stability which is not be gain by living in a stressfull environment for the years.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear preference for taking action, particularly in the introduction and conclusion. The point that leaving a job without another one can increase financial hardship is relevant and supported with a practical example. You also identify possible benefits of learning skills or changing jobs. However, the discussion is uneven: the case for accepting a difficult situation is developed more clearly than the reasons people might actively improve it, and the digital-skills example is brief. Your claim that accepting circumstances can cause anxiety is also asserted rather than explained. To strengthen the response, develop each view with a fuller explanation and make your own reasoning more precise—for example, explain how someone can pursue improvement while managing the risks.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “In contrast,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the discussion, and the ideas generally progress in a logical order. This already provides a coherent framework. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. The sentence beginning “However” shifts from the risks of leaving a job to the disadvantages of staying without fully linking the contrast, while “I believe that to take a step is easy as improving is generally but wisely” interrupts the argument because its meaning is difficult to follow. Use transitions to show the precise relationship between ideas, and ensure each paragraph develops one clear line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial hardship,” “security,” “long term growth,” “gaining new skills,” and “financial stability.” These choices show an attempt to discuss employment and personal circumstances beyond very basic terms. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits clarity and flexibility. Examples include “a good gesture” for the consequences of remaining in a job, “try for the betterment,” and “a human need for the better future.” Spelling errors such as “beleve” and “stressfull” also detract from control. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural phrases and check spelling; for instance, use “career progression” and “improve one’s circumstances” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including a conditional example (“if an individual who resigns may struggle”) and a sentence with a reason clause (“because leaving an unsatisfactory job without a backup plan can lead…”). The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “other believes” needs subject–verb agreement, “individual may stuck” is missing a verb form, and “this lead to mental stress” has an agreement error. The sentence “I believe that to take a step is easy as improving is generally but wisely” is also structurally difficult to understand. Practise accurate verb forms, articles, and agreement, and revise complex sentences to ensure their clauses fit together. Proofreading punctuation and capitalisation, including “I,” would also help.
