Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state your own preference, particularly in “I believe that” people who keep trying are better off. The discussion of acceptance also gives a reason—that it may help people feel calm—but the claim that time will fix everything is not examined or supported. The improvement view is similarly general: you mention making schedules and relying on hard work, but do not show how these actions could improve an unsatisfactory job or financial hardship. The conclusion repeats both positions without resolving the tension between peace of mind and active change. To strengthen the response, explain the circumstances in which acceptance may be sensible, then support your preferred approach with a specific example and a clearer comparison of the two views.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several ideas repeat rather than build—for example, “keep trying,” “keep working hard,” and “keep improving” recur in the opinion and conclusion. Some linking expressions are awkward or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas, such as “In one hand,” while “In addition” introduces a point that largely repeats the preceding claim. Develop each paragraph around a distinct reason, and use clear transitions to show contrast and consequence. More precise references would also help connect claims to the situations being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “shortage of money,” “hardwork and dedication,” and “improve their works.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “unsatisfied emplyoment,” “shortage of economy,” and “made things more perfect faster” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors, including “lask,” “dissapoint,” and “alot,” also reduce accuracy. Aim to use precise topic vocabulary and check spelling; for example, distinguish between accepting a situation, adapting to it, and taking practical steps to change it. Avoid repeating “people” and “keep trying” by using suitable alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, but control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to interpret. Subject–verb agreement is a recurring issue: “most individuals faces” and “They starts” should use matching verb forms. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “In this situations” and the opening sentence, where quotation marks and punctuation make the structure unclear. Some clauses are joined awkwardly, including “they think that their never ending hope and effort will make them success.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar. Proofread agreement, articles, and punctuation systematically.
