Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people think that it is better to tolerate a difficult situation such as unacceptable job or lack of finance, while on the other hand, some people believe that it is best to keep trying and improve themselves in every situation. I believe that always keep on trying to achieve the goals and improve their mistakes in every situation. On the first hand, some people say that to accept a bad situation such as unsuitable job or lack of money is better. By accepting every situation we will not able to improve ourselves ever. As a result, we may lag behind others and considered uneducated members of the society. For example, a student who always accept his failure so, he may never able to pass the exam. Furthermore, he may fall behind in life and be considered as an unsuccessful person in society. On the other hand, some believe that to try again and again and improve those situations is the best option. By grooming and improving their mistakes it will move toward success. By adopting it we will move step by step with the society and we will be encouraged to work hard. For example, a person has unsuitable job and facing a financial crisis. He continusely start searching a suitable job. After a period, he found a best job and his circumstances changed completely. In conclusion, tolerate in every situation can not gives the chance to grow and move with the society. Moreover, keep on trying continusely and facing the difficult situation to improve themselve will make a person capable and successful member of society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a clear preference for continued effort, so the response is relevant to the question. The examples—a student who accepts failure and a worker who searches for a better job—help illustrate the two positions. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the first view is mainly rejected rather than explored as a reasonable choice, and the benefits or limits of accepting circumstances are not explained. Your opinion is also stated in the introduction and conclusion but could be supported with more specific reasoning. To strengthen the response, explain why someone might accept a difficult situation, such as when change is outside their control, then compare this with the advantages of taking practical steps to improve it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other hand” make the shift between positions easy to follow, and the examples are placed alongside the relevant points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive or unclear. “Furthermore” introduces another consequence of accepting failure that largely repeats the previous sentence, while “By grooming and improving their mistakes it will move toward success” does not clearly connect its subject to the idea that follows. Some linking phrases, including “On the first hand,” are awkward. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each sentence build on the previous one through clear references and explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “unsuitable job,” “financial crisis,” “searching a suitable job,” and “successful person.” There are also attempts to express abstract ideas, such as “fall behind in life.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural, which makes parts of the response less precise. For example, “lack of finance,” “grooming and improving their mistakes,” and “move with the society” do not express the intended meanings naturally. Spelling and word-form errors such as “continusely” and “themselve” are also noticeable. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for discussing perseverance, acceptance, and changing circumstances, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “A student who always accept his failure” and a sequence describing a worker’s job search. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. Examples include “I believe that always keep on trying,” “we will not able,” and “he found a best job.” The sentence “By grooming and improving their mistakes it will move toward success” also has an unclear grammatical subject. Practise forming complete clauses with an explicit subject and correctly conjugated verb, and check agreement and articles when editing. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
