Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people diagree with that it is better to accept bad situation in life or try to change for better. While accepting your reality can be reduce stress ,i beleive that working hard to improve your self always was a best option. On one hand acccepting bad situation can have some benifits. If we cannot change a bad situation continously fighting can effect our mental health. For example if someone does not have enough money accepting the situation allow them to focus on saving in future and they can being happy on what they have. But if they do not accepted it and take dangrous loans to improve their lifestyle make situation worse . in this way acceptance helps people to stay calm and happy on what they have. On the other hand trying to improve your situation is necessary for better future. If you accept bad job pr situation forever you cannot achieve your goals. There is a lot of example of successful people who does not accept the bad situation and try hard to they attain there goals of life.
In my opinon accepting situation have be a temporary solution to keep your peace mind. It should not be a pemantant choice true success comes when you face your problems and try to solve them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a clear overall opinion: acceptance may protect peace of mind, but improving a situation is ultimately preferable. The examples about saving rather than taking dangerous loans and pursuing goals are relevant. However, the discussion is brief and ideas are only partly developed; the claim that successful people do not accept bad situations, for instance, needs a specific example or explanation. The conclusion also repeats your position rather than extending it. The response is 39 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to explain both sides fully. Develop each view with a clearer reason and a concrete example, then state your opinion consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. The signposts “On one hand” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the contrast, and the final paragraph makes your position clear. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the sentence about saving money moves quickly from accepting hardship to future happiness without explaining the connection. The long gaps and inconsistent spacing also distract from the presentation. Use a clearer sequence of claim, explanation, and example in each body paragraph, and connect sentences with accurate references and transitions rather than relying mainly on basic signposts.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mental health,” “dangerous loans,” “achieve your goals,” and “solve them.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear. Examples include “diagree,” “benifits,” “continously,” and “pemantant.” Phrases such as “happy on what they have” and “peace mind” are also not natural collocations. Aim to learn topic-related phrases in context and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “financial hardship” or “improve one’s circumstances” would help you express the argument more clearly and avoid repetition of “bad situation.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if someone does not have enough money…” and a contrast introduced by “While.” However, errors are frequent and sometimes make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “accepting your reality can be reduce stress” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “if they do not accepted it” uses the wrong verb form. There are also problems with agreement and articles, as in “accepting situation have be a temporary solution.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together. Practise accurate conditional forms, subject–verb agreement, and article use, then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly punctuated structure.
