Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, a lot of people think that , it is better to accept our unsatisfactory situations. But somebody is having different opinions about it. They disagree and believe that improving situations is the best way to lead a satisfactory life. Actually, both of the sides have their own actions. I am going to disscuss the poins.
On the one hand, there are a huge number of people who couldnot effort higher studies because of their fanancial problems. So , the job they get after finishing their studies , it is a precious or valuable carrer path for them as they couldnot deserve much more than it. Maybe the salary they earn is not a huge money but they still can lead their life as ordinary way. As a result, they accept their unsatisfactory job eventhough not getting appropriate amount of money.
On the other hand, There are people who like to change their situation and circumstance with what they are not satisfied. They think , this is not that thaing what they deserve . So, they work very hard and try to change their goal. For example , a school teacher , who is normally giving lessons to the students, and he become the principal of the school by getting promotion . Because, he wants to change his positions by working hard. So it is sctually depends on situations ansd also peoples mentality too.
In conclusions, i would like to mention that if there is a change to change your unsatisfactory job and shortage of money , you should take the opportunity and try to fix it. Although, some situations are difficult to fix it. At the end, by improving your bad situations, you might be able to experience a healthy and happy life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a clear preference in the conclusion: you recommend taking opportunities to improve an unsatisfactory job or financial situation, while acknowledging that some circumstances are difficult to change. The examples are relevant, particularly the financially constrained student and the teacher seeking promotion. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the first example explains why someone might accept a job, but does not explore the benefits or drawbacks of acceptance, and the promotion example is brief. The opening also says you will discuss the points without establishing your own position clearly. Explain the reasoning behind each view and make your opinion explicit from the introduction to strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusions” help readers identify the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and links can feel mechanical. For example, “So” and “As a result” connect the financial example, but the relationship between the ideas is not fully explained. The teacher example also moves quickly from teaching to promotion and then to a general comment about people’s mentality. Use clearer topic sentences and develop each example in a more logical sequence; ensure references such as “it” and “this” have clear meanings.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory situations,” “financial problems,” “salary,” “promotion,” and “opportunity.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts less clear. For instance, “a huge money” is not a natural expression, “change their goal” does not accurately describe improving one’s circumstances, and “precious or valuable career path” is awkward in context. There are also misspellings such as “disscuss,” “poins,” and “fanancial.” Build a bank of accurate phrases for employment and financial circumstances, and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “a school teacher, who is normally giving lessons,” and a conditional idea in the conclusion. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “the job they get … it is” creates an incorrect sentence structure, while “he become the principal” has an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “Although, some situations…” is also incomplete when separated from the preceding sentence. Practise building complete sentences with one clear subject and verb, and review tense and agreement patterns. More accurate control of these basics will make your ideas easier to follow.
