Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is argued that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, while others believe that it is better to try and improve such situations. In this essay, I will discuss both the views.
On the one hand, as we know that life is not a bed of roses. People have to struggle for earning money. A person have to work hard to fullfil the expenditures of his family. For the happiness of the family, a person work day and night, face all the hardships of the world just for the sake of smile of his loved ones. For instance, if an individual works in a company, he has to do work hard without any complain. Even though, he is not satisfy with his job. But he always struggle because he does not want to lose his job. He tolerates all these things just because he knows in this busy era, there is shortage of employment. Therefore, a person cooperates with his bad situation, so his does not have to face the shortage of money.
On the other hand, some people consider that it is better to try and improve such suitations. Until, a person does not want to improve his own condition, nobody else can do this for him. A job satisfaction is very important factor for an individual, because without satisfaction employees would work just for money not for the progress of the company.
In conclusion, although earning money is not easy and a person must work for his family happines, I believe that is working hard is neccesary condition for earning money, then an individual should work in his satisfactory zone and he should always try to make his condition better.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You introduce the topic and discuss both views, with the first side illustrated through a worker who tolerates an unsatisfactory job because employment is scarce and family expenses must be met. You also state a preference for improving one’s circumstances in the conclusion. However, the second view is much less developed: the point about job satisfaction and company progress is asserted but not supported with an example or explanation of how someone could improve their situation. Your position is also not fully clear until the conclusion, where the wording is difficult to interpret. Develop both sides more evenly and state your opinion directly in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the basic structure. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph repeats the idea of working hard and tolerating a job, while the second moves quickly from self-improvement to employee satisfaction without showing the connection. Some linking expressions are used inaccurately, such as “Even though” as a standalone sentence and “Until” at the start of the second body paragraph. Build each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it with clear links between sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “shortage of employment,” “job satisfaction,” “hardships,” and “progress of the company,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or unnatural, which makes parts of the response less clear. Examples include “cooperates with his bad situation,” “satisfactory zone,” and “for the sake of smile.” There are also spelling errors such as “suitations,” “fullfil,” and “neccesary.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; this will help express the ideas without relying on repeated references to working hard and money.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if an individual works in a company” and a concession with “although” in the conclusion. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “A person have to work” has subject–verb disagreement, while “Even though, he is not satisfy with his job” is not a complete, correctly formed sentence. The conclusion also contains a confusing construction: “I believe that is working hard is neccesary condition.” Practise accurate clause formation, agreement, articles, and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and main verb.
