Student answer (Band 6.5)
A group of people believe that we should accpet our fate in terms of bad situations like financial constraints or unsatisfactory job. However, it is believed by other people that we should always try our best to make the situation better. I strongly agree with the latter point of view that we should always try our best to come out of the worse situation.
To commence, with the first group of people who believe that we must accept any situation whether it is bad or good and there is no need to oppose. They relate this acceptance with the contentment and argue that we should bow ourselves to Almighty's plans. For example, in terms of finances, if they face any shortage of money then they argue that the wealth which is written for you would eventually come to you and you do not have to worry.
On the other hand, proponents of other claim believe that we should never surrender and should always try to improve and make our lives better. For example, if you are not satisfied with your job or the salary then you must negotiate it with the manager or the owner. Even if you do not get succeded then you would not be having regret later on.
I also agree with this latter statement that we should never blame our destiny for bad situations and should always do our best to make the situation better. For example, if you are not having satisfying job because of working environment, then you must talk to higher authorities to make it better. If you do not get the desired results, still you would not be having regret. Similarly, if you are facing money shortage then it is better to try hard and find other means of earning to meet your ends.
To conclude, I have a firm belief that we humans are superior to every other creature. Therefore, if you are not contented with your current situation then you must try your best to make it better and I believe that this attribute makes us unique among other creatures.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and state your position clearly: you explain acceptance through contentment and belief in “Almighty’s plans,” then argue that people should take practical steps to improve their circumstances. The examples about negotiating salary, speaking to higher authorities, and seeking other income are relevant and support your opinion. This meets the task well, while the discussion is not equally developed throughout: the acceptance view is mainly illustrated through financial hardship, and the examples for improvement repeat the idea that trying prevents regret rather than exploring its likely benefits or limitations. To strengthen the response further, explain why acceptance may sometimes be sensible and develop each example with a more specific outcome.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear overall progression: an introduction presents both positions, separate paragraphs discuss each view, and the conclusion restates your opinion. Signposting such as “On the other hand,” “Similarly,” and “To conclude” helps readers follow the argument, and the examples generally appear beside the point they support. Some linking is a little mechanical, however, and the repeated “For example” openings make the development feel formulaic. The final paragraph also introduces the claim that humans are “superior to every other creature,” which is not clearly connected to the preceding discussion. Use a wider range of transitions and make sure each concluding idea follows directly from the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial constraints,” “contentment,” “negotiate,” and “desired results,” so the main ideas are generally clear. There is also some attempt to express abstract concepts, such as accepting one’s fate and blaming destiny. However, several noticeable spelling and word-choice or collocation problems reduce precision: “accpet,” “succeded,” “proponents of other claim,” and “meet our ends” are not accurate or natural forms. Phrases such as “make the situation better” and “try our best” are repeated, limiting flexibility. Build a more precise range of expressions for improving circumstances, and check spelling and common collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if you are not satisfied with your job … then you must negotiate it” and a concession in “Even if you do not get … then you would not be having regret.” These structures help communicate relationships between ideas, and errors rarely prevent understanding. Some grammatical inaccuracies remain, particularly in articles, agreement, and sentence construction. For instance, “with the first group of people who believe” is an incomplete opening construction, while “if you are not having satisfying job” needs a more accurate article and verb pattern. “The wealth which is written for you” also shows awkward clause construction. Practise editing complex sentences for complete structure and accurate articles and verb forms.
