Student answer (Band 5.0)

People want to get a good environment to their desired job and also want to get a healthy salary. So, if we did not get such things or unsatisfactory job and shortage of money, than I think it is better to try to overcome and improve the present situation and that is one of the smartest way.

Sometimes we got such jobs that was very unfimiliar to us, besides there was a short salary, which can effect on our mindset and also in our working conditions. For this, working periods and others can be demage. For example, if someone got a job that was not his/her study field, or got a little salary, he/she could not satified with this atmosphare. He/she could not enjoy their work properly. As a result, the working conditions were damages.

I think, in that situation, people should be try to overcome this situation and find out a way to improve such conditions. Besides, the organizations or head of the members of the company should be announce to some opportunities so that the employer can motivate and they enjoy their work. Working environment also should be improve. By doing this, company can hold their employees and they can be motivated.

In conclusion, I would say that, people should be try to do something better and improve the present conditions. And they should not accept that bad situation, also he/she should be overcome that situation in the field of job or other sites. By doing these, people can be satisfied.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

Your opinion is clear: you argue that people should try to improve an unsatisfactory situation, and you give relevant examples involving an unsuitable job, low pay, and workplace support. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the view that people may accept a bad situation is not explained. Most of the response develops only your preferred position, while the example about an employee’s dissatisfaction is general and does not show how trying to improve things might work in practice. To strengthen the response, explain why someone might accept their circumstances—for example, because of family responsibilities or limited alternatives—then compare this with the benefits and risks of seeking change. Develop one specific example to support your opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening position, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. Ideas generally follow a sensible order, and linking expressions such as “For example,” “As a result,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships. However, progression is limited because the paragraphs repeat the same recommendation to improve the situation rather than developing distinct points, and the opposing view is absent. Some connections are unclear: “For this, working periods and others can be demage” does not clearly explain what follows from the job conditions. References such as “this situation” are also repeated without always specifying which aspect is meant. Give each body paragraph a distinct purpose and use clearer links between cause, example, and result.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “unsatisfactory job,” “shortage of money,” “salary,” “working conditions,” and “motivated.” There are also attempts to express workplace concepts such as “working environment” and retaining employees. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts difficult to understand, including “get a good environment to their desired job,” “short salary,” and “the head of the members.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “unfimiliar,” “demage,” and “atmosphare” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of collocations for employment and financial circumstances, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer familiar, accurate expressions over ambitious but unclear phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if someone got a job” and a result clause introduced by “As a result.” This shows some effort to connect ideas grammatically. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make several sentences awkward or unclear. Examples include “if we did not get,” “jobs that was,” “people should be try,” and “the working conditions were damages.” The final sentence also shifts between plural “people” and singular “he/she.” Practise reliable patterns for giving advice (“people should try”), past examples (“a job that was”), and agreement between subjects and verbs. Vary sentence forms, but prioritise accurate, complete clauses.
