Student answer (Band 5.5)

I have experienced bad situations, unsatisfactory jobs, unpleasant meeting and etc., I am ready to share my opinion why we have to accept it and improve or deal with the situations.

First, ttime flies, everthing happens good or bad and everyone faces that. IWhen I face bad or unpleasant situations that I haven't expected, I just try to accept it. If I get nervous or ged moody, nothing will be changed. Just accept and feel relaxed for your mental health. I have experienced a shortage of money namy times. To be honest, I feel unhappy, sad or worried what to do. However, I try to not to do, nothing to buy or do not make decition related to money.

Second, people try to deal with that situation. For example, if you have unsatisfactory job, you have to think how to make or enjou yourself at your work. Why not to listen to music while you working or, why not having a break time for doing yoga or fit time at your work. If you have shortage of money, there are many options to borrow money from digital apps, it really helps for sudden needs. Moreover, you can ask people you know, do not be shame to ask help.

To sum up, whenever and wherever things happen whateever good or bad. Everyone has it. So I would like to say that just accept it sometimes to make yourself calm down, free out of stress or anxiety, it will be pass by. If it is really hard try to overcome it, find your best way to deal with it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph explains accepting difficult circumstances, while the second suggests ways to improve a job or manage a shortage of money. Your final position—that acceptance can reduce stress, but serious problems should be tackled—is relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The job suggestions focus on making work more pleasant rather than improving an unsatisfactory job, and borrowing money is presented as a solution without considering possible drawbacks. Your opinion also shifts between accepting and overcoming problems, so it would be clearer if you stated when each approach is preferable and supported that distinction with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “First” and “Second,” and a concluding summary. This helps readers identify the two views. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first paragraph moves from general acceptance to money worries and then to an unclear response about what to do. The conclusion repeats the idea that everyone faces difficulties without clearly synthesising the two arguments. Some linking is mechanical, and the opening sentence combines several ideas with commas rather than establishing a clear direction. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then connect examples explicitly to that point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “unsatisfactory job,” “shortage of money,” “mental health,” and “stress or anxiety,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts difficult to follow. For example, “make or enjou yourself at your work” is unclear, and “do not be shame to ask help” does not express the intended meaning naturally. There are also misspellings such as “everthing,” “decition,” and “whateever.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing acceptance and practical improvement, and check spelling and common word combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and conditional structures, such as “If I get nervous or ged moody, nothing will be changed” and “If you have shortage of money, there are many options…”. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences awkward or unclear. Examples include “I have experienced bad situations, unsatisfactory jobs, unpleasant meeting and etc.”, where the list structure and singular/plural forms are faulty, and “why not having a break time,” which lacks a complete grammatical pattern. Verb forms and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “while you working.” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check articles, verb forms, and punctuation.
