Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many countries, people do not recycle the rubbish becuase of lack of knowlege and facilities, sometimes they do not prefer to recycle the rubbish because they go for rich and expensive materials.
Recycling rubbish could be useful for the country, it pevents the rubbish to expand and it decreases the expassion of diseases. People do not go for things they are nor aware of. Our enviorment is something which decides our physical and mental health but in many countries this thing receives the less attenetion.
To figure out why many countries are paying less attention to this things is they are not aware of the advantages and disadvantages of this thing. When you recycle rubbish you prevent the plastic from converting itself into the acids and other harmful materials whic can be combined in our air and when we inhale it goes into our lungs and can damage our health.
On the other hand, we can use the same rubbish like; plastic, wood, glass, etc. for the other purposes and to make new things as well. And this things saves the country's environment and economy as well.
There are thousands of example in the whole world where children are dying through the clinmate change which is caused by the huge amount of rubbish near houses and on the streets. But there are many examples of the countries, who are recycling the rubbish and using them for other safer purposes, they are actually saving the lives of their people and saving their economy as well.
In my opoinion, countries should start recycling their rubbish, so they can take the same benefit from it like other successful countries. They can save their healths and economy trougj it. As we all know that "health is wealth". So, this is our responsibility to keep the world safe and clean so we can live healthy and wonderful life and recycling rubbish is one of the sources.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions by identifying limited awareness and facilities as reasons, and by recommending recycling. The explanation that recycling can reduce harmful waste and protect health is relevant, as is the suggestion that materials such as plastic, wood and glass can be reused. However, the causes are not consistently explained: the opening claim about people preferring “rich and expensive materials” is unclear, and the later discussion mostly repeats the point about lack of awareness. The proposed changes also remain general; “countries should start recycling” does not explain what governments, communities or individuals could do in practice. Develop each cause with a clear example and give specific measures, such as convenient collection points or public education campaigns.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has separate paragraphs and a recognisable movement from causes to benefits and a concluding opinion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In my opinion” help signal shifts. However, the overall progression is not always clear: the paragraph beginning “To figure out why” repeats the earlier explanation rather than advancing it, and the discussion of benefits and examples is spread across several paragraphs without a clear distinction between causes and solutions. Some connections are also awkward, particularly “But there are many examples of the countries,” which makes the contrast difficult to follow. Organise the essay around two clear sections—reasons and practical solutions—and use references and transitions that show how each point relates to the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “environment,” “harmful materials,” “economy” and “climate change,” so the main subject is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “rubbish,” “this thing” and “saving.” Some inaccurate or unclear choices make ideas harder to understand: “rich and expensive materials” does not clearly express the intended reason, while “the rubbish to expand” and “the acids” are imprecise in context. Spelling errors such as “becuase,” “knowlege,” “enviorment” and “opoinion” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of topic expressions and check spelling; choose words that describe the recycling process and its causes accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “when” and “which,” and the reader can usually understand your main points. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “In many countries, people do not recycle the rubbish becuase of lack of knowlege and facilities, sometimes they do not prefer…” joins two independent ideas with only a comma. There are also recurring problems with agreement and sentence construction, as in “this things saves” and “To figure out why many countries are paying less attention to this things is they are not aware.” Review sentence boundaries, singular/plural agreement, and article use, then practise building accurate complex sentences rather than joining several ideas together.
