Student answer (Band 6.0)
In most of the countries individuals do not participate in recycling programmes. This essay explains major causes and the possible measures to address this issue.
One of the significant causes of not recycle gargabe is people do not have much time to seperate their waste. As many people are employed they have busy schedules and meeting's all day. They merely have time to cope up all other activities including recyling. For example, in urban areas people discard all the waste into bins without even separating the categeory they belong to due to lack of time it results into enoromous waste collection . Additionally, many citizens have less idea on the steps involved and benefits of recycling. The use the products and dispose them they were not aware that is product can be reproduced again this contributes to the disposable of products.
One of the effective solution to this problem is government should introduce schemes, and conduct campaing's in rural and urban areas on special holidays and weekends which motivates people to partipate in recylcling programmes which migitate the disposable of waste directly into environment. Furthermore, the procedure of recycling should be included in the lectures of school and college students For example, visual demonstration of different types of products along with grade and category helps students to identify the products belong to which class: reuse or recycle. By implementing these methods developing countries can see a visible change.
In conclusion, busy schedules and lack of awareness on products causes increased rubbish less contribution to recylcing. This issue can be resolved by introducing schemes and educating students to promote recycling.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the question: it identifies lack of time and limited awareness as reasons for low recycling, then proposes public campaigns and education in schools and colleges. These ideas are relevant, and the examples about busy urban residents and classroom demonstrations help illustrate them. However, some points are less fully explained than others. For instance, the claim that people are unaware products can be reproduced is not clearly connected to why this leads to less recycling, and the proposed government schemes are not specified. Develop each cause-and-solution link more explicitly, explaining how a measure would change people’s behaviour. The conclusion restates the main points, but a clearer, more precise summary of the proposed changes would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, one on solutions, and a conclusion. The reader can follow the main progression, and signposts such as “Additionally,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help show how points relate. This meets the expected level of coherent organisation. To move further, make the links between sentences more precise and avoid relying mainly on formulaic transitions. In the example about urban waste, the sentence beginning “For example” runs several ideas together, so the relationship between lack of time and the resulting waste is not immediately clear. Some references, such as “this issue” and “these methods,” could also identify the specific idea more clearly. Breaking up long sentences and linking each example directly to its point would improve flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “recycling programmes,” “awareness,” “dispose,” “visual demonstration,” and “category.” It also attempts more formal expressions such as “effective solution” and “implementing these methods.” However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less precise, for example “recyling,” “seperate,” “campaing's,” and “mitigate the disposable of waste.” Some phrases are difficult to interpret, including “cope up all other activities” and “the disposable of products.” Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise alternatives for describing waste handling and public education would make the argument clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
There is an attempt to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “As many people are employed” and a relative clause in “products … they were not aware.” However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “One of the effective solution … is government should introduce” needs a plural noun and a correctly formed clause, while “The use the products and dispose them” lacks a clear subject and has an incomplete structure. The sentence about products being reproduced also combines clauses without clear grammatical links. Practise building accurate sentences with “because,” “which,” and “that,” and check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries during revision.
