Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You express a clear general view that recycling should be made compulsory, and you give one relevant personal example: your family separates rubbish into categories. However, the response addresses the task only minimally. It does not explain why people fail to recycle, which is one of the two questions, and the proposed solution of making recycling law is stated without explaining how it would work or why it would change behaviour. The comments about pollution and protecting the environment are relevant but remain broad and are not supported with specific reasoning or examples. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, leaving too little space to develop both parts. Explain causes and solutions separately, then extend each with a reason or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has a basic sequence: it introduces a view, gives reasons recycling matters, and ends with a personal example. The phrases “Let me explain further” and “In my personal experience” signal movement between points, so the reader can follow the general direction. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the progression is difficult to identify because the causes of low recycling are not presented and the proposed solution is not developed. Several statements repeat the general idea of environmental protection rather than building a connected argument. Use separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, and connect each claim to an explanation or example. This would create a clearer overall progression rather than a series of loosely linked statements.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycling,” “pollution,” “harmful gases,” “toxic,” and “segregating,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “reclycling” and “wolrd,” and some word choices or combinations are unclear: “number rule,” “unable our environment to breath,” and “creating our environment clean.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand and the vocabulary range remains limited, with repeated general references to the environment. Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “make recycling compulsory,” “allow the environment to recover,” and “sort household waste into categories.” Check spelling carefully and use more precise terms for causes and practical measures.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and a longer sentence beginning “Let me explain further,” and the main message is generally recoverable. However, grammatical control is inconsistent. For example, “for we are protecting are nation” has an unclear clause structure and an incorrect possessive form, while “these type of practice” does not show correct agreement. The sentence beginning “In my personal experience my Family we do our part” combines sentence patterns in a way that makes the subject difficult to follow. Punctuation also needs attention: the opening joins separate ideas with a comma, and there is no space after the full stop before “Recycling.” Practise forming complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
