Student answer (Band 5.0)

There is a statement which illustrate that in many of the countries indivisuals do not recycle their rubbish as much as they could. While from my perspective people go any where they eat or use anything from market than throw all wrappers onto the roads not in dustbin. They just think that this is not their duty. The duty of recycling the rubbish is gournment workers that do their job of cleaning the roads as well as maintaining the ethics of the surface.

This is a very worst habit. This can cause bad effects on their children too like if they watch their parents than copy them and do all that things which their parents has done.I firmly agree that people have learn a lot of ettiquates of throwing any rubber, platic bags, food packets, drink bottles to the bin not on anywhere they want to recycle.

I want to tell about the example of this situation around me I was on motorway and sitting in a car a very well mannered and educated family is sitting in the car which is front of our car they were enjoying and taking food too after that they turn the very bad habit of which I do not imagine from these people is they throw all the garbage and clean their car. They feel that by cleaning the interior of their transport is much remarakble but that was very bad.

here I conclude my all discussion that i know gournment has appointed their employs for this work but this is somehow our responsibility too.If we keep our environment clean than obviously we feel fresh and relaxed.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is limited. The explanation for why people do not recycle is somewhat superficial, focusing on a lack of personal duty and reliance on government workers. The suggestions for change are also underdeveloped, relying on general statements about personal responsibility rather than concrete strategies. The essay tends to over-generalize, and the personal anecdote about the motorway is not effectively linked to a broader argument. To improve, you should provide more detailed reasoning and explore specific, actionable solutions such as government policy, education, or infrastructure improvements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is often disjointed. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or mechanical, such as the abrupt shift from the general statement to the personal anecdote. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes inaccurate, which makes the flow of the argument feel repetitive. For example, the concluding paragraph does not effectively summarize the main points but rather introduces a new, albeit brief, thought. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and often repetitive, which limits the ability to convey complex ideas. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and spelling errors, such as 'gournment' (government), 'ettiquates' (etiquette), 'platic' (plastic), and 'remarakble' (remarkable). The phrasing is often unnatural, for example, 'maintaining the ethics of the surface' or 'turn the very bad habit'. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words in their correct context. Practicing collocations and proofreading for spelling will help you communicate your ideas with greater precision and clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people have learn'), incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'parents has done'), and missing articles or prepositions. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing spaces after periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors causes some difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb forms, and practicing the use of complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences to add variety to your writing.
