Student answer (Band 5.0)
In todays modern world recycling our waste that can reuse again by someone needed but as we see in many countries numerous individuals do not include in work of recycling.
Recycling the rubbish can be helpful for other or for ourselves if we do it. However many individuals just use the material they want and through in garbage instead of recycling bag by which we can recycle it and make it to use again whenever needed.
I believe everyone should acknowledge the advantages of recycling by heart and should think about other so that they can assist something to others. For that regulatory officer should made a rule and also awareness in every area under them So, that every individual will learn to recycle and use of things before throughing them into dustbins
As I concern officer should fine or made a committee who can organise and operate to watch individual if they are not following orders
In my experience we can see and learn from our area officer who made us to think what we are doing from past years and made us to recycle the things like plastic bottles and other plastic products which can recycle and assist other we also have decided a day w a very month where we all take our useless clothes and other items which are not necessary to donate in one box so that if any one in our area want to use anything he or she can use it a
I firmly believe that every society should make this rules and operation to make this happen

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is limited. The reasons provided are somewhat vague, focusing on a lack of awareness rather than deeper systemic or psychological factors. The solutions are also underdeveloped; for example, the suggestion that 'regulatory officers' should make rules is a good starting point, but it lacks detail on how this would be implemented or enforced. The personal example provided is relevant but lacks sufficient detail to fully support the argument. To improve, you should expand on your points with more specific examples or logical explanations to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by awkward phrasing and a lack of clear cohesive devices. While there is an attempt to use transition words like 'However' and 'As I concern', the connections between sentences are often weak or mechanical. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks unity. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting details.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which restricts the depth of your argument. You rely on basic terms like 'rubbish', 'things', and 'material'. There are also several instances of incorrect word choice or word formation, such as 'through in garbage' (instead of 'throw in the garbage') and 'throughing' (instead of 'throwing'). These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, you need to incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues and sustainability, and pay closer attention to word forms and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your writing. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'officer should made a rule'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. The sentence structures are predominantly simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors that make the meaning unclear. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures and ensuring subject-verb agreement. Once you have a solid foundation, work on incorporating complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences with greater accuracy.
