Student answer (Band 5.0)
IN THIS CONTEMPORARY ERA , INDIVIDUAL OF THE MULTIFARIOUS COUNTRIES CAN'T DISPOSE THEIR OLD DICARDED THINGS AS MUCH AS THEY COULD BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO SAVE IN THEIR HOUSES THAT NOBODY CAN TAKE THAT THINGS. HOWEVER THROUGH SOME METHODS THAT CRITERIA WE CAN CHANGE.
THE MAJOR REASON IS THE TRADITIONAL ERA OF THE ANCESTORS. IN MOST OF THE HOUSES AGED PEOPLE SAVE THEIR TRADITIONAL THINGS LIKE CLOTHES AND UTENSILS. BECAUSE THEY WANT THEIR IN FUTURE WITH THE BETTERMENTS AND THEY CAN'T KEEP OUTSIDE OR IN OTHER COUNTRIES. FOR EXAMPLE , IF THEY RECYCLE THEIR ITEMS TO THE OTHER PEOPLE OR IN THE DONATION NGO'S THEN THE VALUES OF THE THINGS SUPPOSE TO BE GET DOWN.
THERE'S ONE METHOD THAT WE CAN CONVERT THIS RECYCLEABLE ITEMS INTO GREAT FRAME. WHEN WE COLLECT ALL THE DISCARDED ITEMS WE CAN MAKE SHOWROOM WHERE WE PLACE ALL THE ITEMS INTO THAT FRAME THAT EVERYBODY CAN REMEMBER THROUGH THAT FRAMES. HENCE. PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND THE VALUES , EMOTIONS AND LOYALITY TOWARDS WITH THE DISPOSED ITEMS
ADDITIONALLY, THROUGH THAT SCENARIEO THERE'S A POINT OF CONTACT TO SEE THE DISCARDED ITEMS AND ALSO PEOPLE CAN MAKE MONEY THROUGH THAT AND THEY LIVE THEIR BETTER LIVES.
THEY CAN SAVE THEIR TRADITIONAL VALUES WITH GREAT SUCCESS
AS A RESULT , THE MAJOR REASON WE FIND THAT GREY HAIRED PEOPLE COULD NOT DISPOSE THEIR RUBBISH ITEMS BRCAUSE THE GOOD VALUES FOR THEIR TRADITION AND THE BENIFT WE CALCULATE THROUGH THAT IS WE CAN SET A ASET TO MAKE THE MONEY THROUGH THAT PLATFORM

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt's two parts—reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions—but the development is weak and often unclear. The argument regarding 'ancestors' and 'aged people' saving items is difficult to follow and does not clearly explain why people in general do not recycle. The proposed solution of creating 'showrooms' for discarded items is somewhat tangential to the concept of recycling. The ideas are not fully developed, and the connection between the reasons provided and the solutions suggested is tenuous. The response lacks a clear, consistent position, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by unclear phrasing and disjointed sentences. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'However' and 'Additionally,' but they are often applied incorrectly or in a way that does not link the ideas logically. For example, the transition between the 'ancestors' argument and the 'showroom' solution is abrupt. Referencing is sometimes confusing, particularly with the use of 'that' and 'those' to refer to previous concepts. The overall structure is mechanical rather than fluid.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often used inaccurately, which frequently impedes communication. Phrases like 'multifarious countries,' 'traditional era of the ancestors,' and 'grey haired people' are either misused or stylistically inappropriate for an academic essay. There is a reliance on basic vocabulary, and attempts to use more complex terms often result in errors in collocation and word choice (e.g., 'values of the things suppose to be get down'). The range is insufficient to express ideas with precision, leading to a repetitive and somewhat confusing narrative.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often obscure the intended meaning. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'BECAUSE THEY WANT THEIR IN FUTURE WITH THE BETTERMENTS AND THEY CAN'T KEEP OUTSIDE OR IN OTHER COUNTRIES.' The use of complex structures is attempted but is consistently faulty. Punctuation is also problematic, with erratic capitalization and misuse of commas. These errors are frequent and cause difficulty for the reader throughout the text.
