In many countries , people do not recycle their rubbish as much as they could . Firstly , if people do not recycle their rubbish than it make things more expensive in the market. Secondly , this is wastage of things . for example :- if we take a polythene from the market and we use them for one time and next time we take a new polythene and we throw older polythene in dustbin than this is wastage of money and also wastage of things . Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt (reasons and solutions), but the development is limited. The ideas regarding why people do not recycle are somewhat simplistic, focusing primarily on the misuse of plastic bags. The solutions proposed, such as police intervention and fines, are mentioned but lack depth or nuance. The essay repeats the prompt's introductory sentence, which is unnecessary. To improve, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed explanations and specific examples, ensuring that your position is clearly maintained throughout the entire essay rather than just in the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often mechanical. The use of cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' is repetitive and basic. Some transitions are awkward, such as 'While we can use that older polythene more than one time,' which does not logically connect to the previous sentence. The conclusion is somewhat disjointed and does not effectively summarize the main points of the essay. Improving the flow between sentences and using a wider variety of linking words would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. Words like 'things', 'rubbish', and 'polythene' are used frequently. There is little attempt to use less common or academic vocabulary. Phrases such as 'wastage of things' and 'make some new rules' are basic and lack the precision expected at higher band levels. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more sophisticated synonyms and collocations related to environmental issues, such as 'sustainability,' 'waste management,' 'legislative measures,' or 'environmental impact.'

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government have needs', 'somebody do not recycle'), incorrect word forms (e.g., 'some peoples are agree'), and awkward sentence structures. The range of grammatical structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of spaces before commas and the informal use of symbols like ':-'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors in verb tense and pluralization.
