In these days and time, many people throw garbage on streets or in lakes. some people opine that many people do not recycle their garbage as much they can do. this essay intend to discuss its reasons along with its relevant solution.
To commence with , one of the primary reasons why people do not recycle rubbish is that people feel that this is the time consuming process and they do not have that much time for this work. To expound this, nowadays most of the people are working and they have to go to their jobs . only one holiday in a week in which they want to take rest and do not work on anything. most of the individual do not even care about these things like making any new things with waste material or so on. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation regarding time constraints is repetitive, focusing heavily on the idea that people are too busy with work and household responsibilities. The solutions provided—government camps and laws—are relevant but lack depth and specific examples of how these would be implemented or why they would be effective. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed reasoning or concrete examples, ensuring that the connection between the problem and the proposed solution is more clearly articulated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the phrase 'To recapitulate this' is used incorrectly, and the transition 'On other hand' lacks the necessary article. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, such as the final sentence which mentions 'some problems' instead of 'some solutions'. While the progression of ideas is generally logical, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the occasional misuse of referencing make the flow feel somewhat forced rather than natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'garbage', 'rubbish', and 'things'. There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'consumption of time' (instead of 'time constraints') and 'this essay intend to discuss' (should be 'intends'). While the meaning is clear, the lack of variety and the occasional errors in word choice limit the score. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues and sustainability.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('most of the individual do not', 'this essay intend'), missing articles ('there should be law introduce'), and punctuation errors (e.g., the semicolon usage in 'However ;'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader and indicate a lack of control over complex structures. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
