Student answer (Band 4.5)

Nowadays the dramatical increment of dirt and garbabges should be recycled as much as they could and i think this is the important things for the society and we should have to follow a different way to manage the garbages .In this essay will give my opinion about the important and what can be done to encourage recycle more and draw a conclusion.

On the first hand ,most of the people donot recycle their rubbish because of the lack of awareness for instant in rural area people donot know how to manage garbage and the consequences of garbages contaminated outbreak diseases.Another factor is the lack of recycling facilities makes people more demotivated to manage rubbish for instant if proper recycling bins and collections service are not be available in every area it will lead them to neglect and more careless about recycling garbages.

On the other hand , to manage the garbages and encourage people to recycle more they should introduced a strict rules in every area for instant government should fine imposed for improper waste disposal.Another measures many companys and small traditional shops should use recyclable or reusable material instead od plastic .for instant if we install cloths bag to the different business factors to reduce packaging instead of unnessary materials .

In conclusion , unavailability of recycling equipment and the lacl of awareness among the recycling garbabges leads them to discourage to recycle their rubbish whereas their is some certain measure should be followed to changes this perpective like inttroduced strict rules and avoid the trend of overuse plastic bags through different companies.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons why people do not recycle, such as a lack of awareness and a lack of facilities, and suggesting solutions like strict rules and biodegradable materials. However, the development of these ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For instance, the discussion on lack of awareness mentions 'in rural area people donot know how to manage garbage' but fails to extend this point effectively. The introduction also contains irrelevant and confusing phrasing about 'dramatical increment of dirt and garbabges'. Because the ideas are underdeveloped and lack full elaboration with concrete examples, this response satisfies the criteria for Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

There is an attempt at paragraphing, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression of ideas is hindered by poor referencing and repetitive cohesive devices. The phrase 'For instant' is overused and misused multiple times instead of 'For instance'. Furthermore, the links between sentences are often mechanical and confusing, such as 'On the first hand' and 'On the other hand', which do not accurately frame the two body paragraphs. Pronoun referencing is also unclear in places, such as 'they should introduced a strict rules'. Overall organisation shows some basic structure, placing it at a Band 5.0 level.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary range is limited and frequently inaccurate. The student uses basic or invented words, such as 'dramatical increment', 'garbabges', and 'cloths bag'. Spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable throughout the text, including 'od plastic', 'unnessary', 'lacl', and 'inttroduced'. While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary like 'consequences' and 'recyclable', the high frequency of basic errors in word formation and spelling impedes readability and causes strain for the reader, fitting the Band 4.0 descriptor closely, though the presence of some correct topic-related words ('recycling', 'waste disposal') pushes the score to a 4.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of overly long, run-on sentences that lack proper punctuation and coordination. There are frequent and systematic errors in basic grammar, such as missing subject-verb agreement ('government should fine imposed', 'facilities are not be available'), missing articles, and incorrect verb tenses ('they should introduced'). Punctuation is largely neglected, with spaces placed before commas and periods throughout the text. Complex sentence structures are attempted but are consistently faulty, meaning the response aligns with Band 4.0.
