Student answer (Band 6.0)

INDIVIDUALS DO NOT INTEND TO REPROCESS THEIR OWN WASTE WHICH THEY CREATE IN MANY REGIONS. THIS ESSAY WILL DISCUSS THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM AND SUGGEST SOME EFFECTIVE MEASURES TO ENCOURAGE HUMANS TO RECYCLE MORE.

THERE ARE PLENTY OF REASON WHY PEOPLE DO NOT RECYCLE THEIR TRASH. TO BEGIN WITH, MOST OF THE CROWD DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT RECYCLING AND ITS IMPORTANCE. THEY MAY NOT KNOW WHICH ITEM CAN BE RECYCLED OR WHICH ARE NOT, AND HOW TO SEPARATE THEM AFTER IDENTIFYING. FURTHERMORE, RECYCLING CAN BE INCONVENIENT WHEN THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH RECYCLING BINS OR COLLECTION SERVICES IN SEVERAL AREAS. CONSEQUENTL, PEOPLE MIGHT THROW ALL KINDS OF WASTAGE IN SAME BUCKET.

THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO ENCOURAGE INDIVIDUALS TO REPROCESS MORE. FIRST OF ALL, GOVERNMENTS SHOULD PROVIDE MORE RECYCLING BINS IN PUBLIC PLACES AND MAKE RECYCLING SERVICES EASILY AVAILABLE. SCHOOL AND COLLEGES MUST TEACH STUDENTS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF REPROCESSING AND PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT. MOREOVER, GOVERNMENTS SHOULD GIVE REWARDS TO PEOPLE WHO RECYCLE REGULARLY. FOR INSTANCE, PERSONS SEE THE REWARDS GIVEN BY GOVERNMENT MIGHT THINK THAT AFTER RECYCLING REGULARLY, I ALSO COULD RECIEVE THESE TYPES OF BENEFITS. THESE MEASURES CAN ENCOURAGE HUMANS TO DEVELOP BETTER RECYCLING HABITS.

IN CONCLUSION, THE MAIN REASONS FOR LOW RECYCLING RATES ARE A LACK OF PUBLIC AWARENESS AND INSUFFICIENT RECYCLING FACILITIES. TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE, GOVERNMENTS SHOULD PROVIDE MORE RECYCLING BINS AND COLLECTION SERVICES, WHILE SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITIES EDUCATE STUDENTS ABOUT REPROCESSING. THESE CAN ENCOURAGE MANKINDS TO RECYCLE REGULARLY AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing the reasons why people do not recycle as much as they could and suggesting effective measures to change this. The student correctly identifies reasons such as lack of knowledge and inconvenient facilities, and proposes solutions like adding bins and educational programs. The position is clear throughout. However, the ideas are somewhat generalized and could be extended further with deeper explanation or more robust examples. For instance, the example provided ('for instance, persons see the rewards given by government might think...') is slightly repetitive and basic. Overall, the task is adequately fulfilled, corresponding to a Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay is divided into four distinct paragraphs, following a logical structure with an introduction, body paragraphs for reasons and solutions, and a conclusion. There is a clear overall arrangement. However, referencing and cohesion can be faulty or mechanical. For example, the transitional phrase 'CONSEQUENTL' contains a typo and feels abrupt. Pronoun referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'which item can be recycled or which are not'. Cohesive devices are used, but sometimes lack smooth integration. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but overall the cohesion fits the Band 6 descriptor where progression is visible but mechanics can be faulty.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using terms like 'reprocess', 'public awareness', and 'insufficient recycling facilities'. However, there are noticeable word-choice errors, unnatural collocations, and typos throughout the text. Examples include 'most of the crowd' (instead of 'most people'), 'all kinds of wastage in same bucket' (instead of 'waste in the same bin'), and 'CONSEQUENTL'. Furthermore, the student frequently uses 'reprocess' as a direct synonym for 'recycle', which is less natural in this context. These issues place the lexical resource firmly at a Band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and some complex sentence forms, such as conditional or dependent clauses ('Governments should provide more bins... while school and universities educate...'). There are, however, several grammatical errors and punctuation issues. Examples include subject-verb agreement errors ('there are plenty of reason', 'School and colleges must teach'), missing articles ('in public places'), and incorrect verb forms ('which item can be recycled or which are not' and 'I also could recieve'). While these errors do not impede overall communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent the grammar score from reaching a Band 6.0, settling securely at a Band 5.5.
