Student answer (Band 4.5)
In today's era there are many products which is used by humans in their daily life. Suchas food product, beauty product, medicines and many more. They are helpful to humans as well as it can creat the problem of spredding the garbage in the environment and there are many countries, people don't recycle their rubbish as much as they could. Further this essay will discuss it advantage and disadvantage and in the end I'll mention my point of view.
It is true that recycling the garbage can reduce the problem of land, air and water pollution as well as it will create new business opportunity for the local people. Humans can make new products usind the plastic bags and itoms which is throwen that can be converted into plastic banches and toys and can create a new source of income. Because of using the recycled products there will be clean environment and fress air so that helth of people can be improved.
On the other hand if we will not recycle the rubbish then it can effect our environment and our health. We will have mountains of garbage in every city and directly it will affect the air, water and land. Because of that reason health of every living organisam will be in danger and then one day it will take life of every living being's. Air will be heavyer and smelly to breath, water will not able to drinkable and land will loose it potentioul of cultivation of the food.
To conclude I belive that people should not throw the weast hear and there. They should throw the garbage in perticuller alloted dustbeens so that easily the weast is recycled and we can save our earth as well as our lives. Sabsiqueantly government should spread awareness about this and it is both's risponsibility to clean the area, city or nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response addresses the task only minimally and tangentially, which places it at the lower end of expectations. While the writer mentions recycling, the approach fails to properly engage with the actual prompts of why people do not recycle and what can be done to change this. Instead of explaining the underlying causes of low recycling rates, the introduction veers off-topic by promising to discuss advantages and disadvantages, a feature of Task 1 or a different Task 2 prompt type. Ideas regarding environmental consequences and solutions like dustbins are limited and under-developed, lacking the necessary extension and clear focus on the direct questions asked in the task instructions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, which shows some basic structural organisation, but the progression of ideas is frequently disrupted. The introduction outlines an incorrect plan for the essay by mentioning advantages and disadvantages rather than causes and solutions, causing an immediate structural disconnect. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic, repetitive, or mechanically applied, such as 'Further this essay will discuss' and 'On the other hand'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall logical flow between sentences and paragraphs is weak, meaning the information is not arranged in a fully coherent manner.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used throughout the response is basic and repetitive, with limited ability to express precise meanings. There are numerous noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form that occasionally cause strain for the reader, such as 'creat' instead of create, 'spredding', 'usind', 'itoms', 'throwen', 'fress', 'helth', 'organisam', 'heavyer', 'potentioul', 'weast', 'perticuller', 'dustbeens', 'Sabsiqueantly', and 'risponsibility'. The writer attempts some topic-related vocabulary like 'pollution' and 'environment', but the high frequency of lexical inaccuracies prevents the response from achieving a higher level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences joined by basic connectors. When the writer attempts more complex forms, errors become frequent, particularly with subject-verb agreement, verb tenses, and relative clauses, such as in 'many products which is used' and 'items which is throwen'. Punctuation is also problematic, with missing commas and run-on structures. These frequent errors in basic grammatical patterns and agreement can cause difficulty for the reader, although the core message can generally still be deciphered with some effort.
