Student answer (Band 5.0)
In my parts of the world, individuals donot prefer to recyle their waste as much as they could. In my opinion, this is beacuse a large number of people think recyling a waste requires a lot effort and time than buying a new product.
To make recycling a part of daily life some government policies must be implemented as well as local level training must be provided.
Overall, recycling waste is not encouraged by people in many countries beacuse they found it difficult to spare time for recyling .Moreover it requires a lot of energy and the process itslef also genrates large amount of
waste. Community level training and awareness must be provided to practice recyling and government should implement policies and take intiatives to implement the process of recycling.
In this contemporary society, the process of excessive buying of products even if it is not needed generates a lot waste. A large number of people are too lazy could not spare time to recycle the products instead they just make it part of the environment.
For instance people buy alot of clothes even if they have many in their closet. They get rid of old clothes by just throwing it in the dustbin instead of using it for different purposes like a mop and cloth used for dusting. Similarly People buy plastic products and disposed in the
environment it generates alot of waste as it takes longer time to be decomposed.
In order to implement the process of recycling, it should start from home individuals must know how to recycle products. For instance plastic can be used for other purposes like
a pot for plant, can be used as storage bottle, and it also works best propoerties of binding and can be used for road. Moreover, community level trainning must also be given to people to make this a necessary part of life.In addition, government should provide incentive that motivate memebrs of the society to do recyling
Moreover, in sweden many products are labelled " the process of recycling" at its back.that help individuals to recycle the products at home.
In conclusion, in most of the countries people generate alot of rubbish as comapred to the amount they could recycle it.The individual practice and approach towards recyling will beneficial in terms of recyling. In this government should also take part to recommend ways to put forward this approach among individuals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing the reasons why people do not recycle as much as they could and suggesting measures to change this. Your position is generally clear throughout the essay. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For instance, the reasons regarding effort and time are repeated across different paragraphs rather than extended with fresh supporting points. Similarly, solutions like community training and government policies are mentioned multiple times without deep elaboration. To move to a higher band, you need to ensure that every main idea is fully extended and supported with distinct, well-developed examples rather than restating the same points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The overall arrangement shows some logical progression as you introduce the topic, discuss reasons, suggest solutions, and provide a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical, and paragraphing is irregular and confusing. For example, paragraphs start and end abruptly, and ideas about excessive buying and clothing are mixed into sections discussing solutions and general reasons. Referencing and cohesive devices are sometimes inadequate or unclear, such as the sudden shift into the example about Sweden without a smooth transitional link. To improve, you should group your ideas into clear, distinct thematic paragraphs and use cohesive devices more accurately to show a clear progression of thought.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as "contemporary society" and "incentive". However, there are numerous noticeable lexical and spelling errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, such as "recyle", "beacuse", "itslef", "genrates", "alot", "disposed", and "propoerties". Word choice is also sometimes imprecise, as seen in phrases like "make it part of the environment" instead of littering. To achieve a higher score, you should expand your control of less common lexical items, ensure correct word formation, and pay closer attention to accuracy in spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader, including missing articles ("in sweden", "government should"), incorrect verb forms ("people buy a lot of clothes... by just throwing it"), and run-on sentences with missing punctuation. For instance, sentences like "In this government should also take part to recommend ways to put forward this approach among individuals" lack structural clarity. To progress, you need to use a wider variety of complex structures with greater control, ensuring better accuracy in subject-verb agreement, pronouns, and prepositions.
