Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both parts of the question by giving reasons for low recycling and suggesting measures, including public campaigns and improved waste collection. However, the ideas are only partly developed: the claim that people lack time is followed by a brief example about workers, while the point about people not seeing recycling as their responsibility is difficult to understand and is not clearly explained. The proposed measures are also mentioned briefly, without showing how they would change behaviour. The conclusion introduces penalties, but this solution is not developed in the main discussion. The response is 32 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. Develop each reason and solution with a clear explanation or relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a section on reasons, a section on solutions, and a concluding statement. Basic signposting such as “First of all” and “several measure can be taken” helps readers identify the intended stages. However, progression within the body is uneven, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the sentence about people not wanting to clean an area moves abruptly to micro-bacteria and fresh air, so the relationship between these points is hard to follow. The conclusion begins “extracting the gist,” which does not connect naturally to the preceding discussion. Use separate, clearly focused paragraphs for reasons and solutions, and connect each explanation directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “recycle,” “waste collection system,” “public awareness campaign,” and “excessive waste,” so the reader can identify the subject. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, but inaccurate spelling and word choice are frequent enough to make parts difficult to understand: “garabage,” “persceptive,” “unhygenic,” and “penalites” obscure otherwise relevant ideas. Some phrases are unnatural or imprecise, such as “in plethora of urban countries” and “make it unhygenic place.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than more elaborate wording. Proofread spelling carefully and choose direct expressions such as “in many countries” and “people’s responsibility to recycle.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response includes some attempts at longer sentence forms, such as “This essay will discuss the main reasons … and suggest some effective measures,” as well as a concluding sentence beginning “with this measures.” However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur frequently. For example, “recycling take a long procedure” has an agreement and structure problem, while “they try avoid” is missing a grammatical element. The sentence beginning “secondarily” is difficult to follow because its clauses are not joined clearly. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly at the starts of sentences. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clear subordinate clauses and check subject–verb agreement.
