Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both parts of the question by giving reasons—limited awareness, a lack of recycling bins, and the time involved—and proposing education and better bin provision. These points are relevant, but they are mostly listed rather than explained or supported with examples, so the response only partially develops the task. The proposed government guidance is also vague: explain what information people need and how it would change their behaviour. Your position is generally understandable, although the introduction promises a discussion without clearly stating the main causes and solutions. The response is 244 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250 words. Develop each main point with a brief explanation or example to make the answer more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the answer. However, progression within paragraphs is limited because ideas are often presented as a list, and links such as “Moreover” and “On the other hand” do not always show the precise relationship between points. The conclusion repeats the general problem and recommendation rather than drawing the discussion together. Some references are unclear, for example “recycle their rubbish” followed by “do not recycle it,” where “it” could refer to the rubbish or the activity. Use clearer links between cause and effect, and organise each paragraph around a main idea followed by explanation and an example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “rubbish,” “recycling bins,” “environment,” and “Government,” so the reader can understand the subject. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, such as “important protecting factor,” “time taking job,” and “availability of recycling bins everywhere.” Spelling errors—including “watse,” “eassy,” “recylcing,” and “hurdels”—are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the writing. Some words are also repeated frequently, particularly “recycle” and “problems.” Build a wider set of precise environmental terms and check spelling; for example, describe recycling as “an important way to protect the environment” and refer to “convenient access to recycling facilities.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast clause beginning “Although” and a reason introduced by “due to the fact that.” However, the range is limited, and complex structures are often faulty. Examples include “Many individuals have no idea that how much recycling is essential,” “every problem have must some solution,” and “It should be teach at school level.” There are frequent problems with agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction, as in “everyone is busy in its job” and “The government should be work.” Punctuation and spacing also need attention, particularly around commas and sentence boundaries. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then build longer sentences with correctly formed verbs and clear clause links.
