Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many nations, individuals do not recover their garbage of their society, because i think it cause of lack of awareness. People did not know about the benefits and other important use of waste. other is that government do not take any step about this issues.
There are many reasons of throw the garbage, first is that lack of awareness and they could not fell their waste in rubbish bins. Mostly people throw their trash in rubbish tins but not recycle them, the main issue is that there are not many facilities in society, then people face many problems and could not separate the plastics and rubbish. People face these challenges and spread their rubbish in redidential areas and in streets. For instance, in many society rubbish bins are not available and not spread the awareness about the trash in society so it is main reason of throw the gurbage in country.
There are some solution about the waste in society, one is that the peopel should recycle these waste things and again use this things for their needs. Other is that these waste store them and then made the electricity, so it is usefull for people and nation. It is the most important advantage of garbage. The main solution is that government should take steps about these waste and provide better facilities to save the trash and many other polluted things. For example, in schools teacher should teach their students who separate their household wastes.
In conclusion, citizens spread their rubbish by lack of awareness and government cannot gauid the people, other is that people recycle the waste and get many facilities by garbage waste.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you identify limited awareness and inadequate government provision as reasons, then suggest recycling, using waste to generate electricity, and teaching pupils to sort household rubbish. These are relevant ideas, and the examples about missing bins and school lessons help connect them to everyday life. However, the explanations are often brief or unclear. For instance, the point that people “could not separate the plastics and rubbish” would be stronger if you explained how a lack of separate collection facilities discourages recycling. The conclusion also introduces the idea that citizens “get many facilities by garbage waste,” which is difficult to understand and does not clearly summarise your proposed changes. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on reasons, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation. However, the overall progression is not always clear: the introduction mentions causes, while the body repeats them without consistently separating awareness from the lack of facilities. Linking phrases such as “first,” “other,” and “for instance” are used, but some are inaccurate or repetitive, and relationships between ideas are sometimes hard to follow. For example, the sentence beginning “Mostly people throw their trash in rubbish tins” shifts from disposal to recycling without clearly explaining the connection. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s purpose, and connect each explanation and example directly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “rubbish bins,” “facilities,” “household wastes,” and “electricity,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. Phrases such as “recover their garbage,” “throw the garbage,” and “save the trash” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “recycle waste,” “dispose of rubbish,” and “collect and process waste” would be more precise. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “redidential,” “gurbage,” “peopel,” and “usefull.” Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling, word forms, and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example, “For instance, in many society rubbish bins are not available…” This shows an effort to explain and give examples, but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur in “it cause of lack of awareness,” “government do not take,” and “teacher should teach.” Articles, plurals, and sentence construction also need attention, as in “in many society” and “There are some solution.” These patterns sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and plural endings. Use a few well-controlled complex sentences rather than joining several ideas into one.
