Student answer (Band 5.5)

People nowadays across different nations do not prefer to reuse their waste as they actually can.It is only because of threat of spreading various diseases as well as they don't consider it impotant as they have money to buy more stuff. Several steps should be taken to ensure recycling by the manufacturing companies by limiting the resources.

The first and formost factor is having the threat of diseases. As it is considered that reusing anyone's else material like glass or dishes can cause severe health hazards which can be life threating to some extent. For instance, a person with diabetes can never share his own used equipments with others because it is more likely to copy this fetal disease to others. Secondly, people nowadays are wealthy so they not consider to use the material which is once being used by them earlier. As, using a mateial again may give the feeling of poverty which individuals do not want to experience. So in order to look supeior they not use recycled things

However, the authorities can make several laws and regulations to address this issue. They can restrict people to reuse material again by not providing enough resouces to manufacturing companies. This eventually will results in reduction of dispozibal things so people will prefer to recycle goods. For instance, government can stop the supply of plastic to different factories or may impose huge taxes this can overcome the production of new material. Additionaly, through internet networking sites and TV programs people can be made aware of enironmental importance. Anchores can be encourged to spread news about such issues and address people to keep their ecosystem clean and safe.

In conclusion, because of likelihood of getting preyed to diseases people can abolish recycling as well as to show their superiority but lawmakers can stop the supply of major resources which produce more matrial. Public awareness about environment can also be made through internet foster recycling

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions by giving reasons for low recycling and suggesting government action and public education. The points about fear of disease and the wish to appear wealthy are relevant, and you offer examples such as restricting plastic supplies and using television programmes. However, the response only partially develops these ideas. The disease example focuses on sharing used equipment and dishes, which is closer to reusing personal items than recycling household rubbish, and the claim that diabetes is contagious is inaccurate. The proposed restriction on manufacturers’ resources is also not clearly explained as a way to increase recycling. Clarify the distinction between recycling and reusing, and explain how each measure would change people’s behaviour.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “However” help signal the main stages of the argument. Overall, the reader can follow the intended progression. Some connections are mechanical or unclear, though. For example, “This eventually will results in reduction of disposable things so people will prefer to recycle goods” does not clearly show how limiting manufacturers’ resources leads to that outcome. The conclusion repeats the main points but does not bring them together clearly. Use more precise links between cause and effect, and make sure each paragraph develops one connected line of reasoning.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “health hazards,” “laws and regulations,” “impose huge taxes,” and “environmental importance.” These choices show an effort to discuss causes and policy solutions. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “material,” “people,” and “things,” while several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts difficult to understand: “fetal disease,” “dispozibal,” and “matrial.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “copy this disease” and “look superior.” Build a more precise set of topic words, including “household waste,” “recycling facilities,” and “contamination,” and check spelling and collocations carefully so your meaning is consistently clear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and some attempts at longer structures, including a reason clause beginning “As it is considered that…” and a conditional example with “if.” However, complex sentences are often not controlled successfully, and frequent errors can make the reader pause. Examples include “they not consider,” “This eventually will results,” and “people can be made aware of environmental importance,” where verb forms, sentence structure, or missing grammatical elements affect clarity. Punctuation also needs attention: the opening has no space after the full stop, and the sentence beginning “For instance” joins two ideas without a clear boundary. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
