Student answer (Band 6.0)

In the contremporary era, due to the excessive use of plastics products and rising demand for fastfood increasing the amount of trash. In many nation, individuals are not involved in recycling process of their west. In this essay, I will discuss the significant reasons and solution of these issues.

To commence with the notion, there are many reason of behind these statments. First and formost, people are not aware about the hazardous pollutant and about the recycling process. Also, certain people have leck of knowledge about the pivotal of the recycling process as its harmful substance impact on their well-being. Consequently, they are not doing recycling process in a right ways. Secondly, in many rural part of countries where proper equipments are not available for recycling method. Therefore, people have no further option for recycling their rubbish.

Moreover, there are several ways to overcome these hurdles. Firstly, the government should spread crucial information via runing camping, advertisement among people so, they are pay more attention toward recycling process and also they have to provide best recycling tools to encourage population for recycling procedure. For, instance, the Korean authorities give different dust bins for different type of trash and they implement auto plastic recycling mashine on every street. Therefore, their every citizens are doing recycling of their waste. Apart from this, people also can recycle their trash at home like they can sepreate their rubbish and use vegetable waste for gradening as a result the production of trash ultimately reduced.

In conclusion, because of lack of knoweldege, machine people do not recycle their trash as much as they could. However, bureaucrats and individuals can took step foot forward to mitigate these problems by providing motivation, proper technical recycling gadgets and by using e-waste for plantation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both parts of the question: lack of awareness and limited recycling facilities are offered as reasons, while public information, equipment, sorting bins and home composting are proposed as responses. The Korean example gives the solutions some concrete support, and your overall position remains clear. This meets the task well, but the development is uneven: the point about people not understanding recycling is repeated in slightly different terms, while the rural-facilities explanation and the example could be explained more precisely. The conclusion also introduces “e-waste,” which has not been discussed in the essay. To strengthen the response, explain how each cause leads to low recycling and connect each proposed measure directly to a cause.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. The ideas generally progress logically, and the example is placed alongside the relevant solution. However, the linking can feel mechanical because several sentences begin with formulaic transitions, and some connections are unclear—for example, “Therefore, their every citizens are doing recycling” does not clearly show how the example supports the claim. The conclusion’s reference to e-waste also weakens the progression because it appears without preparation. Use more varied links and make relationships between claims and examples explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “hazardous pollutant,” “recycling process,” “rubbish,” “dust bins” and “vegetable waste,” so the reader can identify the subject and main ideas. However, the range is limited by repeated use of “recycling process” and “trash,” while inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable throughout. Examples include “pivotal of the recycling process,” “runing camping,” “recycling mashine” and “use ... for gradening.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand, particularly in the final sentence. Build a more reliable set of environmental terms and check spelling and word forms; choose natural combinations such as “raise awareness,” “recycling facilities” and “separate household waste.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both short statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures with “because,” “as” and “therefore.” This shows an effort to vary sentence forms. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty; errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms can make some passages difficult to follow. For example, the opening is a sentence fragment (“due to ... increasing the amount of trash”), “people ... are not doing recycling process” has an incomplete grammatical pattern, and “bureaucrats and individuals can took step” uses an incorrect verb form. Practise building complete sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check subject–verb agreement, articles and verb forms when editing.
