Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question by identifying time pressure and limited awareness as causes, then proposing separate bins and education through schools and media. These ideas are relevant, but they are only partly developed, which limits the response: for example, you say busy people lack time to recycle, but do not explain how collection arrangements or convenience contribute to this. The awareness point is also unclear where you refer to the “upcoming generation” and “stop wasting thing.” Your proposed measures need more precise explanation of how they would change behaviour. The conclusion restates the main points, but the position and supporting reasoning are not consistently clear. Develop each cause and solution with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, one on solutions, and a conclusion. The signposting phrases “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In addition” help readers follow the main stages, and the ideas generally appear in a logical order. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some stronger progression. However, links within sentences are often mechanical or unclear, as in “which leads to nowadays people are usually busy” and “by that their upcoming generation can also enhance more about recycling.” Some references, such as “these problems” and “this,” do not point clearly to a specific idea. Use simpler sentence links and make each pronoun or reference explicit to improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “recycle,” “waste,” “time-consuming,” “awareness,” “separate bins,” and “educate.” These choices make the subject clear, and phrases such as “concrete measures” show an attempt to use more formal language. However, the usable range is limited by repeated wording and noticeable errors in spelling, word form, and collocation. Examples include “worls,” “recyling,” “know eledge,” “dummping,” and “diseaes,” as well as unnatural phrases such as “provide separate bins” and “get less diseases.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Build accuracy with common environmental collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “Although,” “which,” and “if.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. For example, “individuals does not like … has been emerged” combines incompatible subject–verb forms and sentence structures; “people do not get enough time to recycling” uses an incorrect verb pattern; and “schools and media should to educate” has an incorrect modal construction. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time, checking verb forms and agreement.
