Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You address both parts of the question by mentioning possible consequences of poor recycling and suggesting action, including recycling and reusing plastic. However, the response only minimally answers the task: it does not explain why people fail to recycle, which is a central part of the question. The effects you describe, such as rubbish on streets and pollution, are relevant but do not substitute for reasons behind people’s behaviour. The proposed solutions are also brief and not explained—for example, “start a cleaning organisation” does not show how this would increase recycling. The response is 36 words below the required minimum, which further limits the development of your ideas. Add clear causes and explain how each practical solution addresses them.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some organisation: you introduce the topic, use separate paragraphs for problems and solutions, and provide a concluding statement. Basic signposting such as “To commence with,” “In other hand,” and “To conclude” helps show the intended structure. However, progression is uneven because the essay discusses effects rather than first establishing reasons, and the solutions paragraph is very short. Some links are unclear or inaccurate, such as “This creates a big difficulty on heart patients,” where the connection to the preceding point is not explained. The repeated use of “This creates” also makes cohesion mechanical. Build a clearer sequence—causes, consequences, then solutions—and use pronouns and linking phrases that make relationships between ideas explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “recycle,” “garbage,” “pollution,” “public areas,” and “reuse.” This is enough to communicate the general subject, but vocabulary is repetitive and some word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “garbage mix in oxygen” does not clearly express the intended environmental effect, while “through garbage” appears to mean “throw garbage.” There are also spelling errors such as “bresth,” and phrases like “breathe cancer patients” are unclear. Aim to use precise, natural expressions for causes and effects, and check spelling and word forms. Replacing repeated general words with accurate topic vocabulary will make your points easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response relies mainly on short, simple statements, with limited control of more complex sentence forms. Frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “they should be do that,” “as far as i consider that how trash spread,” and “Government should be action on it.” There are also problems with subject–verb agreement and sentence construction, as in “patients faces,” and with articles and plural forms. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the lowercase “i” and spaces before commas. Practise forming accurate basic clauses first, then combine related ideas using structures such as “because” and “which.” Proofreading for verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries would improve clarity.
