Student answer (Band 4.5)
In many countries people do not recycle their rubbish as much as they could due to the various reasons.
In my opinion most of the time lack of awareness toward this responsibility is one of the reason.People don't know the significance of recycling for climate.we can mitigate this barrier by conducting awareness sessions on schools، college and universities level.Respective countries government must take steps to promote and encourage recycling. The steps could be installing Recycling bins on public places, promoting recycling industries, rewarding for recycling, devising policies that supports recycling. Government should arrange events on educational and work level.
For instances, if I talked about my country most of the people don't know the concept of recycling.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify a relevant cause—limited awareness—and suggest several possible responses, including school and university awareness sessions, public recycling bins, incentives, and supportive policies. However, the response addresses the task only minimally: the reasons are not explored beyond one brief point, and the proposed actions are listed rather than explained or supported with examples. The final sentence about your country is incomplete as evidence and does not show what happens or why. The response contains 101 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum; 14 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count. Develop both parts of the question with clear explanations and specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has a basic sequence: it introduces the issue, gives a reason, proposes measures, and ends with a reference to your country. This gives the reader a general sense of the intended direction. However, ideas are not arranged coherently enough to form a developed argument, and the paragraph contains several separate suggestions without clear links or explanation. The transition from the cause to solutions is abrupt, while “For instances” introduces an example that is not completed. Organise the answer into paragraphs for causes and solutions, and use clear links to show how each measure addresses the stated lack of awareness. Complete the example so it supports a specific point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycling,” “awareness,” “promote,” “policies,” and “industries,” so the main subject is generally clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “mitigate this barrier.” However, the range is limited and some expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, including “awareness toward this responsibility,” “recycling bins on public places,” and “rewarding for recycling.” Capitalisation is inconsistent in “Recycling bins,” and “For instances” is not the appropriate form. Aim for precise, natural collocations and vary the vocabulary used to explain causes and solutions; this will make the short argument clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate a basic cause and several proposed actions, and you attempt a longer sentence with a list of measures. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, and punctuation are frequent enough to affect fluency. For example, “one of the reason” needs a plural noun, and “policies that supports” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence beginning “People don't know” runs into “we can mitigate” without appropriate sentence punctuation or capitalisation. The final clause, “if I talked about my country,” is also not formed naturally for this meaning. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then connect them with controlled complex structures.
