Student answer (Band 6.0)
In many nations, it is observe that people do not recycling their rubbish as much they need to. Recycling is crucial but its rate is still very low globally. According to me, everyone need to recycle their rubbish more to make our country neat and clean. Both the obstacles and the remedies are describe in the following paragraphs.
Listing the problems, the worst one is that nowadays people do not know about environmental damage such as landfill, population and cilmate change. If people are not educated enough then they will not know what is recycling and what is not. For example, if uneducated people does not know about recycling then how they will able to do it. Resulting in, that recycling rate will low. Another reason is that laziness and low motivation of people, which leads to low recycling rate.
To solve this major issue, goveenment needs to take some strict actions and provide facilities such as give bins to everyone with different colour for different wastage. Furthermore, if governement make strict laws and charge fine for not recycling rubbish then this matter will be solved. For example, in Germany, it is compulsory to recycle the trash which gives positive results. So, this strict laws need to follow by many other countries.
In conclusion, this problem raise by laziness and lack of awareness as well. To solve this government need to make strict laws and provide different infrastructure too so, people will start to do recycling their garbage. If this happend then recycling rate will increase significantly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you identify limited awareness and low motivation as reasons for weak recycling, then suggest education-related awareness, separate bins, and fines. Your position—that governments should act to increase recycling—is clear. The examples of colour-coded bins and Germany’s compulsory recycling make the proposals relevant. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: for instance, you mention laziness but do not show what makes recycling inconvenient or how motivation could be improved. The reference to environmental damage also lists “landfill, population and climate change” without explaining the connection to recycling. Develop these ideas with a specific cause-and-effect explanation or a concrete example so that both the reasons and solutions are more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. The progression from problems to remedies is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Another reason,” “To solve this major issue,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and also shows some stronger control through purposeful paragraphing. However, several links feel mechanical or unclear, particularly “Resulting in, that recycling rate will low,” and “So, this strict laws need to follow.” Some ideas are also repeated in the conclusion without adding much. Use clearer cause-and-effect links and refer back to ideas more precisely, rather than relying mainly on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main points, including “recycling,” “landfill,” “climate change,” “strict laws,” and “infrastructure.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “low motivation” and “different colour for different wastage.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which can make meaning less clear. For example, “population” does not clearly express the environmental problem intended, and “different wastage” is not a natural phrase for types of rubbish. Spelling errors such as “cilmate,” “goveenment,” and “happend” are noticeable. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling, word forms, and natural combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “If people are not educated enough then they will not know…” and a relative clause in “laziness and low motivation of people, which leads…”. These attempts show some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make sentences difficult to interpret. Examples include “it is observe,” “people do not recycling,” “everyone need,” and “this problem raise.” There are also problems with sentence construction in “Resulting in, that recycling rate will low” and with the passive structure “this strict laws need to follow.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and complete clause structures. Aim to make each complex sentence clear before adding further clauses.
