Student answer (Band 5.5)
Today all of us face many problems which include smoking etc. But today we talk about a major problem that is reclying rubbish. In many countries people do not recycle their rubbish as much as they could. They didn't care about their environment. They are too lazy to recycle their rubbish. In this case we have to encourage people to recycle their rubbish. We show them the importance of recycling garbage.
Firstly those peoples who do not recycle their rubbish are too lazy and evhausted. They didn't care about their environment. They do not know about their bad impacts on society and nature. They just busy in their daily life and they didn't have zeal and sense to keep their society and nature clean. When we didn't recycle our rubbish it remains on every side, peoples thow their garbage on roads, rivers and ponds which is then animals and fishes eat and died.
Secondly we have to make some beneficial plans to mitigate the effect of rubbish. Government should have to start some necessary campaigns to show peoples importance of recycling rubbish. They have to place a garbage bin on the start of every street and tells peoples to throw their garbage in it. Than a seperate in avounced who coolect all the rubbish from bins and take it to recycling place and then recycled it carefully to mitigate its deterimental effects.
In conclusion today peoples are too lazy to recycle their rubbish and they didn't have zeal to keep their nature clean. In this case government have to encourage people and made beneficial plans to recycle rubbish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that people recycle less because they are “too lazy” and lack awareness, and you propose campaigns, street bins, and collection for recycling. The point about rubbish harming animals and fish is relevant, but the causes and solutions are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. The response therefore only partially develops the task: for instance, explain what makes recycling inconvenient or how a campaign could change people’s habits. Your position is clear in the conclusion, but the ideas remain limited and some claims, such as people not caring about the environment, are broad generalisations. Note that 14 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the main stages, and the reader can generally follow the central argument. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: the first body paragraph repeats that people are lazy and do not care, while the second moves quickly from campaigns to bins and collection without clearly explaining how these measures work together. Some links are also unclear, particularly the sentence beginning “When we didn’t recycle…” and the description of who collects the rubbish. Develop one point at a time and use clearer references and transitions rather than relying mainly on basic sequencing words.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “recycle,” “garbage bin,” “campaigns,” and “detrimental effects.” There are also attempts at more formal wording, such as “mitigate,” although it is repeated and does not always sound natural in context. The range is limited, with frequent repetition of “rubbish,” “people,” and “nature,” and several spelling or word-choice errors make parts harder to understand, such as “reclying,” “evhausted,” “thow,” and “coolect.” Aim for more precise alternatives and check spelling carefully. For example, distinguish between recycling facilities, collection services, and public awareness campaigns instead of repeating general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Most sentences use simple structures, and you attempt longer sentences to explain causes and consequences. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to follow. Examples include “They didn’t care” and “they didn’t have” when describing general habits, where the present tense is needed, and “Government should have to start,” which has an incorrect modal construction. Agreement and sentence structure also cause problems in “a separate … who collect” and “animals and fishes eat and died.” Practise forming accurate present-tense statements and joining clauses clearly. Greater control of these basic patterns, alongside a wider range of reliable sentence forms, would improve clarity.
