Student answer (Band 5.5)
The ongoing problem of people not recycling their rubbish and garbage as much as they could and this is leading to a wast increase in polution around the world. In the following paragraphs I will disscuss more about this issue.
The issues or reasons behind these peoples for not fullfiling their resposiblities are mainly because of their teaching their education and their lack of knowledge about social rules which their elders donot taught them. This problem is very concerning for our enviroment and for the health and safety of every creature on Earth.
To solve this problem or issue we should teach our young ones manners and give them knowledge about social skills. Our eductaion system must be undergone a change and should also target the topics of "How to save our enviroment?" , "How to be clean and make sure everything is clean around us?" , 'How to properly and easily recycle our rubbish and garbage?". In adiition our government should also provide facilites to make recycling simple and easier for every individuals. Facilities including garbadge can in every 200 meters and their should be seperate bins for different kind of rubbish labeld on them like plastic, rubber, metal etc. And their should be different events that must held after avery six month to teach people how to clean enviroment around them and make it a little fun by giving points for every peice of garbage that they collect and they could use those points to exchange for different prizes.
In my opinion these kind of practices are very important for every country and by doing these our enviroment will get better . As foreign countiers are also doing these to enhance their enviroment and to decrease pollution.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that limited education and awareness contribute to low recycling, then propose school lessons, accessible bins, and community events with rewards. These are relevant, practical ideas, and the examples of labelled bins and points for collected rubbish make the response more specific. However, the explanation of why people fail to recycle is less fully developed than the solutions: the claim that elders do not teach social rules is asserted rather than explained, and other possible barriers are not explored. The final reference to what “foreign countries” do is also general and unsupported. Develop the causes with a clear explanation or example, and support the broader claims to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph of solutions, and a concluding opinion. The progression from education to government facilities and public events is generally easy to follow, and linking phrases such as “To solve this problem” and “In addition” help signal the direction of ideas. This organisation is effective, while some cohesion remains mechanical or unclear. For example, “The issues or reasons behind these peoples” is an awkward opening to the causes paragraph, and repeated references to “problem or issue” and “rubbish and garbage” add little. The long solutions paragraph would be clearer if divided into separate points, with more precise links between each proposal.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “recycling,” “pollution,” “separate bins,” and “prizes.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “social skills” and “facilities,” which suit the topic. However, the range is limited by repetition of “problem,” “issue,” and “rubbish and garbage,” while several inaccurate word choices or forms make the writing less natural: “wast increase,” “facilites,” and “enhance their environment.” Spelling errors such as “polution,” “enviroment,” and “labeld” are noticeable and sometimes slow the reader. Build a more precise range of environmental and policy vocabulary, and proofread spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence that lists several proposed actions and a conditional idea about exchanging points for prizes. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence formation and verb patterns sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. The opening is a fragment: “The ongoing problem … and this is leading…”; it needs a complete main clause. Other examples include “Our education system must be undergone a change,” where the passive construction is not formed correctly, and “events that must held,” which is missing a verb form. There are also agreement and article problems in phrases such as “for every individuals.” Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them using subordinate clauses and relative clauses.
